While here, you will also have access to many other features including a private gazebo with a grill, kayaks, lawn games, lots of animals to visit, and an expansive waterfront on 2.8 acres.Immerse yourself in the tranquil waters with a leisurely canoe or kayak excursion, or, during low tide, don a pair of the provided rubber boots for an enchanting stroll around the point. Depending on the season, marvel at the presence of seals, sea lions, otters, and even orcas in Dyes Inlet, while a nearby Salmon run adds a natural spectacle. Our intimate cove is a haven for bird enthusiasts, featuring an eagle nest perched on the edge of our property, along with blue herons, numerous ducks, and an array of other bird species.In the warmer months, when tides are more forgiving, take advantage of our 6-goal disc golf course and waterfront picnic area.Perfect year-round "glamping" experience. With extra space outside protected from the rain by a gazebo and the cozy warmth inside, you have options. Our cozy cottage features stunning views of Dyes Inlet. It is also a bird lover's paradise with so much activity right within view of the cottage! The sunrise views are truly amazing & you can enjoy them while enjoying your morning coffee on the nice big deck, but make sure you catch a sunset as well. It is fully furnished & includes 1 bedroom with closet, 1 bathroom & a full kitchen/dining room with refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven & all the essentials. Additional amenities include TV, DVDs & player, books & games, wi-fi, grill, use of canoe, kayaks, bikes & rubber boots.The PropertyWe are on 2.8 acres with a large amount of waterfront. The tide goes in and out twice a day. The cottage has a covered parking space and additional parking is available upon request. There is a personal a gas grill on the deck and you are allowed to use the canoe or kayaks (with a signed waiver). We have a large canoe as well as 3 adult and one child kayaks. We also provide most sizes of rubber boots for beach combing and several lawn games. During low tide, you can walk around the point as long as you stay on the beach. We have 2 big friendly dogs and 2 cats on the property that might want to visit you when you are outside, but they are not allowed inside the cottage. There are also goats and chickens you can visit if you'd like. Feel free to explore the small nature trail, play the 6-goal disc golf course, or hang out at the beach front picnic table - when weather permits. There are 2 AirBnbs on our property, the Cottage & an Airstream. This photo shows the location of both. Each has it's own deck or patio with a private yard area & dedicated kayaks. A Kohler cast iron tub invites guests to indulge in a luxurious, relaxing bath surrounded by windows overlooking the bay. For those needing a place for work, the private office adjacent to the master bedroom provides ample desk space along with inspiring views of the water. High-speed gigabit WiFi is provided throughout the home and surrounding outdoor areas.The main house has 5 bedrooms (7 beds) and can accommodate 12 people sleeping comfortably. The attached apartment above the garage has 1 bedroom and a sofa bed and accommodates up to 4 people. The main house has two bedrooms on the main floor. There is a bathroom and shower on the main floor. There is also a bathroom and shower in the basement next to the game room. There is a large laundry room on the main floor. There are three bedrooms on the second floor. Each of the second-floor bedrooms has their own en suite bathroom and shower. Play arcade games, pool or foosball in the game room, basketball in the driveway, or ping- pong in the garage. A separate apartment complete with its own bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and laundry provides additional space.The gourmet chef's kitchen with double oven provides all the necessities for preparing meals large or small.
