From this room, you’ll have absolutely stunning views of the 24 acre property out back (which is yours to explore!), Mt Mansfield aka Stowe Mountain Resort (where you can watch skiiers rip down the mountain or hikers climb up through your binoculars!), and a local farm to the right where you can sometimes hear the cows in the morning. Wake up in the morning with a coffee after grabbing some from local VT roasters The Roastery and watch beautiful sunsets over the mountains on the deck in the evenings. Grab some local beef or meat from the farm right next door (5 min walk) and cook a delicious meal in the fully stocked kitchen, with Caraway pots and pans, plateware from CB2, new appliances, and more. The table and bench nook in the kitchen were also designed by us and custom made by a local VT carpenter. Relax in a bath or take a rain shower under the clouds in the new spa-like bathroom. Down the hall, you’ll find two equal sized bedrooms, each equipped with a luxuriously comfortable queen Casper bed and Brooklinen linens. In one bedroom, you’ll find a secretary desk for an additional workspace.At The Lookout, nature abounds. Star gaze at night with some of the most crystal clear, beautiful night skies you’ll ever experience. Wander the property along two brooks for a late day or early morning walk or snowshoe. This home was built in the early days of settling in this area – and in the same year that the merino wool trades came to Vermont. And with Stowe Village and Morrisville just a short drive away, you'll have easy access to local dining, shopping, and outdoor adventures.End your days roasting marshmallows and stargazing around the firepit or enjoying a meal from the local farmer right next door.
