"Warning: Deliberate Deception! We visited the Berg'k'Hof as a family. Unfortunately, we had already read the many negative reviews beforehand. Of course, cancellation wasn't an option for us either. But no matter, we decided to make the best of it. First of all, it's not a 30-minute walk as described on the website. No, it involves a lot of steps, followed by a steep hiking trail. It took us a good hour to reach the Berg'k'Hof. Upon arrival, a woman who spoke little German couldn't greet us because the tablets needed for this purpose had no battery. Once this problem was resolved, we were given the wrong rooms. When we first tried to address this, Florian reacted very angrily and showed little willingness to compromise. Later, he made an offer, which we declined. After dinner, naturally with a barcode, which tasted okay but wasn't anything special, it was time to pay. The system didn't work. Very annoying. Breakfast the next morning didn't offer any organic quality, and there wasn't much of a selection. For €18, one could at least expect a juice and more than three types of sausage and cheese. Please also be aware that if you go to the sauna, you have to pay after 9 pm, even if no one tells you. Florian can track the time you enter and leave the sauna using a camera. Overall, it's a great area, and with honest communication, it would certainly be a highlight for many. However, when the directions are a lie, and cancellation is impossible from the outset—quote: "If your grandmother dies or is in the hospital, I can't do anything about it; a booking is a booking"—it completely ruins everything. To me, this practice is purely deliberate. Apparently, one can survive on cancellation fees and unhappy guests. The staff on site do their best. However, the whole experience is very impersonal, and Florian is simply the worst proprietor imaginable."
