This hotel is in a great location—about a 2-minute walk to the bus stop with services to the airport and the city center. It’s also only around 5 minutes on foot to the beach, so it’s perfect for exploring and enjoying the sea breeze. There are plenty of dining options right across the street, including restaurants and a bar. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, which makes it ideal for a relaxing trip. Behind the hotel, there’s a small hiking path where you can enjoy beautiful sea views. A supermarket is also conveniently close—around an 8-minute walk to a large one. The area is well connected and extremely practical for travelers. The owner is very kind and friendly, and he speaks excellent English. The staff are also warm and helpful, and they can communicate well in English, which made everything easy for me as it was my first time visiting this place. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the facilities are well-equipped. There are also quality shampoo and shower gel provided in the rooms (well-known brands), so you can feel comfortable using them. Breakfast was one of the highlights—delicious food with freshly baked bread and homemade pastries. There are enough options to suit different tastes and types of guests. And to top it all off, the hotel has a cute, quiet cat. It stays calm and never bothers guests, which I truly appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. I had an amazing experience here and felt it was excellent value for money—definitely more than I expected!

Very nice hotel, rooms are big and clean. Big plus was the hotel room key which was a card so you don’t need to search for keys :)… breakfast was super with many variations to choose from :)

Room was really nice and clean, breakfast was tasty and things like cheese and ham are local products. Also there is a cat that spends time around in hotel lobby, very cute. Staff was nicest, easy to talk to, really friendly. If we find ourselves wanting to make a stop at Duino again, we will rent a room at Aurora again.

Excellent from A to Z! They even helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was amazing! My 88 year old mom was traveling with us, and they were so kind and helpful!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Duino. The location was perfect for us—just a short walk from the UWC college, with bus stops and great local restaurants right around the corner. The hosts were incredibly kind, always helpful, and greeted us with genuine warmth and a smile every day. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tidied daily, which we really appreciated. While we didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, it looked absolutely delicious each morning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area, especially if you're connected to the college!

Clean room, very good breakfast, friendly stuff helping and advising you about the town and hotel.we had feeling like home.the only difficult was that hotel have no elevator. You get free mobile phone including long distance calls. Free wifi .
