젬 밸리(Jem Valley)

I had visited this place with my family. The rooms were good. But I should mention that the breakfast which was served was too good its was so homely food. The staff were so polite and friendly. Mr. Arjun at the reception was the actual Gem of Jem Valley. Restaurant was clean overall I would recommend genuinely to my friends and family.

Pros: 1. Room as well as view from room is very good. Value for money. 2. Staffs are good, nice behaviour. Cons: 1. Worst food. Food quality should be improved. We were having severe stomach problem by consuming the food and it ruined our trip. Please include some north Indian style food also so that people can try that. Please stop using coconut oil and curry leaves in all preparations. 2. Service can be improved. Very slow service. 3. No soap, shampoo, towel provided. After I called reception and asked for it, they provided. This is very necessary to arrange the room properly before guests checkin. 4. Wifi didn't work properly. Without wifi, it's very difficult to stay there as you won't get signal easily for airtel/vodafone.

Jem valley the finest place for stay at kodaikanal safe and secured atmosphere. The food taste is delicious no harm for health and digestion. Campfire and dinner buffet were one of the finest ambience and enjoyable.

Love the rooms and food. foods are not very costly, but the hotel is bit remote area, where didn't get any mobile signal, only relying on wifi. but deinitly u will love the rooms, and definitly, the view from balcony.

Nice room with balcony. Complementary breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner food varieties are less. Clean room and pleasant place to stay. House keeping is good. Heater in bathroom didn’t work properly.

Stay and balcony was very good 👍 and it's far away for city for its peace full and silent environment for family and couples it's better place to book this hotel we stay for one day food for good but it's costly

We have been to Jem Valley on 5,6,7th October-2022. Resort ***ager Mr. Arjun has well received us with his staff. We were 2 adults and 2 children, they allotted us king room with extra bed. The room is neat and clean, hot and cold water 24 hours available, clean bathrooms, every room has balcony, from the balcony the valley view is mind blowing. valley covered with partial fog around, its the beauty of kodaikanal mountain valley can be seen. The resort is at highest altitude in kodaikanal, it will be joy ride while going up to third level to reach the room. The breakfast buffet was good enough, good and tasty. While the dinner was ala-carte, restaurant interior was awesome. The room service was very god, everything query/requirement they provided at the earliest. So 5* for room service. The resort is at a 4 km from kodaikanal city bus stop. Only dislike is the approach to the hotel is to travel on very narrow road like inside a small village. Except that all is good. The resort away from city where no noise pollution, good view entire kodaikanal city can be seen. Our trip was for 3 days, it is still in my memory not easy forget those days. the best stay and quality service. 5*****. Thanks Umesh K
