Great hotel in a safe and quiet area. Just minutes from shopping, the train station, the bus station, and many great restaurants. They met us at the train station, took our bags and led us right to the hotel. The breakfast was great in the morning. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

The front desk staff were excellent and helpful, and they connected us to a great guide who helped us with getting tickets to Machu Picchu, getting on bus, etc. Wonderful balcony right on the river, room was basic but all we needed.

Edison met us at the train station and helped get our bags to the hotel. Gisela checked us in and when I asked about a clinic for my husband, she called a clinic and arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel because I looked like a deer in headlights and I was unable to navigate what was needed. The doctor knew exactly what my husband needed and provided immediate care. Within two hours my husband was much improved. On the day we were going to Machu Picchu, Edison was up and provided an early breakfast cooked by the kitchen staff. Ou room faced the river and it was spectacular. Should I ever return to Agus Calientes I would stay at Sanctuario Hotel, never looking for another hotel. Thank you to all the staff at Sanctuario.

Set along a roaring river and mountainside, Aguas Calientes and this hotel couldn't be more scenic. Humidity and a wet bathroom floor is about all you might seriously criticize. The outlets were a little loose for plugs, but not hazardous. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. If the folks on top of the mountain were as nice as those in town, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Machu Picchu.

Excellent experience and excellent value when visiting Machu Picchu. The staff here is incredibly helpful and warm and kind. Breakfast was great. Location is super convenient, especially if you want to walk to Machu Picchu to avoid the bus crowds. Can’t say enough good things about the people working here though, their caring is genuine and they make the experience memorable for us. Thank you.

My stay at Santuario Machupicchu was exceptional! The staff was incredibly welcoming, the location breathtaking, and the accommodations fantastical. Highly recommend for a memorable experience in Machu Picchu!
