"Lovely place with a kind innkeeper and his wife. First off, Senior Giaconne only speaks French and Italian, no English but, even though my wife and I speak high school French, communication was not a problem. He was able to direct us to a restaurant that served the finest meal we had in Piedmont (called Albero Fiorito, more on that in a separate review). This inn is the former summer home of an Italian general Giovanni Durando and it was restored by Senior Giaconne and his family. As such, there are lots of antiques and unique details, like the painted ceilings in each room and giant ivory tusk in the hallway. If you like history and charm couple with a bit of eccentricity, this is the place for you. The inn does have a small pool but it was too cold for us to swim there and it’s not heated. There’s also an exercise room. But one of the highlights is the breakfast room and the breakfast. My wife and I were the only guests at the time but Senior Giaconne and his wife put out a spread that could have fed a dozen people easily. There was home made cake, a frittata, fruits, croissants, cheese, sausage and on and on. A breakfast fit for a kind, truly. We felt guilty that we could only eat a small portion of it all. The effort showed us what kind of innkeeper these people are. Highly recommended for one night if you’re passing through and more if you’re working in the area. And have dinner at Albero Fiorito and read my separate review."

"What a wonderful place! Modern, fresh, delicate, colorful with a friendly hostess. Nice breakfast! Nice rooms with matching colors all the way through. Wonderful bed. Gorgeous pool area, clean, easy, open. Perfect! We were concerned about the neighbors' dogs that welcomed us loud and clear, but they calmed down and Quattro Pozzi is a very very nice place to stay! Very well done! Easy walking distance to La Morra, 8-10 minutes, but feels very close, just straight down the road. Very practical after dinner with a local wine. Highly recommendable!"

"What a fantastic place! Beautifully situated in the hills of La Morra. 360 degree views, stunning landscape and gorgeous property. Location is great for access to all of the main villages. Check in process was seamless and very friendly. We were greeted immediately and shown to our wonderful room. The room had all the amenities we needed. We stayed in room 3, which we highly recommend. Corner room on the top floor offering a large balcony in the front with endless views of the vineyards and mountains and a relaxing patio in the back immersed in the vineyard. Large beautiful living space, ample his and hers closet space, spacious bathroom with heated floors, and plenty of amenities (coffee, tea, mini bar, etc). We loved the nightly turn down service and special treats. Breakfast was held in The Lab Bistro, plenty of selection and beautiful views of the morning sun burning the fog off the vines. Parking is very easy in a secure, gated, covered garage. We did not have time to experience the Spa, but the space was lovely and we will for sure enjoy on our return. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you for the warm hospitality and lovely stay."
