We visited last year with our son so wanted to return here with our twin daughters also as we knew it was clean, safe, great location and the pools are warm. We had another great stay. We had requested a ground floor room and really hoped we weren’t facing the building work as family rooms are to that side. Room was perfect position! Easy access to both pools and breakfast room, ground floor and no building work seen or heard. All the staff were very friendly but particularly the lifeguard (we heard someone call him Gilbert so may be his name?) and Ava/Ana on reception who were just fantastic so helpful and so friendly. Breakfast is 8-11 which allows you time for a lay in and check out is 12! Great timings so you’re never rushed. Fab food at breakfast, especially the fried eggs and never a queue for anything. Many thanks and hopefully we will be returning again soon.

La ubicación del hotel es una pasada, queda justo frente al mar con todas las habitaciones en esa dirección. Por dentro tiene una especie de estanque con plantas y sofás, en la que puedes descansar y desconectar, además de que tienen actuaciones por la noche. Las habitaciones están bastante bien, a nosotros nos tocó una con dos camas y eso si es algo que no nos gustó. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 24th Sept to 1st Oct because we liked the photos and the reviews given. How wrong we were. The junior suite we were in was very compact with very few amenities. At least we had a sea view with an outside whirlpool. You got a small t/bag size amount of salts for this, but were never replaced once used. The shower usually flooded the bedroom floor when used, the bathroom scales didn't work. The housekeeping!! sometimes good but usually poor. The pool areas look nice on their website, but are very busy with sunbeds next to each other's. Conversations easily heard from other guests.. The restaurant can get very busy, the food we had was OK, usually hot but not always. Some entertainment in the evening in sports bar, some good some not. Also service here can be a bit slow. Location wise, the hotel is close to bars/shops/restaurants and nice views of the sea. Refused a late check out, wanted us to use shower at the spa but found that this was a shared shower room. So potentially we may have been showering when complete strangers walked in??. Complained at reception and told, there is a courtesy room, but this had been let out to paying guests. Totally unacceptable. Guest experience manager contacted who phoned me later and asked about the problems. Asked why I hadn't told reception about room problems, I said every room should be inspected before guests are allowed in. However, we got a 3 hour extension at no cost and a complimentary bottle of bubbly. Definitely.not a 4 star, Won't visit again ever even if the holiday was for free. Very disappointed.

Positives of this hotel: *Good location. Walking distant of the centre were most of the bars/shops/restaurants are. *Suite has loads of storage space. *Seperate living area. *Suite spacious for 2 people. *Can swap evening meal for lunch. *No issues geting a sunbed but we did visit in November. *Bus stop right outside hotel and frequent. Negatives: *No drink on arrival from reception. *No help with luggage. There are no lifts so if on top floor is a hike with heavy luggage. *Our suite was dated. Needs a bit of colour. *Bathroom small. Dated. Shower small so if not a size 10 be warned its a tight squeeze. *Room sometimes wasn't serviced till very late afternoon. *Food not great esp for Vegetarians. Some staff think salad and potatoes are a meal. * Can be noisy due to large volume of small children in the restaurant. *Had to pay for safe which for a 4 star hotel is a bit steep. If you want to borrow an iron/iron board its €14 a day. * Have to book evening meal in advance. Can be very busy. They need to extend the dining space. Some nights long queues. *Sound proofing poor. Can hear a lot of noise from other guests. *Reception needs to have copies of bus timetables for guests. Costa Teguise is a lovely resort and we will be back again but not sure if to this hotel. Its more catered for families with young children. The hotel appears tired and seems more of a 3 star hotel not 4.

Hey just writing this quick review as we have only arrived today after being petrified for weeks wondering what we were walking in to. I just want to reassure everyone who are planning on visiting soon, that our 1 bed apartment is SPOTLESS huge in size and has gorgeous views, the staff have been super friendly ensuring our room was ready for us hours before check in time. Thought i would give my thoughts on this hotel. It was not the one i booked, but i could not go the other hotel for other reasons so was offered this. On the whole it is a nice hotel i will say it is not the worst, but not the best 4* ive ever stayed in. I will give good and bad, and take notes below: We stayed in a standard room, not a themed room as on the website. Good points : It is very clean, room cleaned everyday, outside and pool area spotless all the time. Staff seemed friendly, although tbh i didn't have to many interactions but the ones i did were pleasant Location is ok, there is a bus stop at the bottom of the road where you can get a bus to Accerife, Puerto del carmen and the Sunday market in Teguise. Also easy walking distance to the resort centre along the sea front - very pleasant Xmas decorations were nice Loads of available sunbeds, but it was December :) Bad Points: The food is very very beige!, very little variation. Same pasta and sause everyday, there was usually a different protien served, but the rest is very similar every day. Dinner is usually a slight variation of Lunch. I also had a pork chop on the last day and when i cut into it it was pink. could have been an odd one but i wasnt willing to try another. 'fruit juice' in the morning at breakfast is just cordial, or extremly watered down juice. All inclusive can be better and is much better than this! We ended up eating out for dinner the last 3 nights (of 7) as just so bored at the lack of choice. The room we were in was above the kitchen, hope you are a heavy sleeper as at 3.30 am the fans start in the kitchen and wake you up vibrating the room! Average and to be aware of : The hotel is in need of a refurb, there are broken tiles in the hallways, unfinished painting in the dining room, the bedroom furniture is a joke, you wouldnt give £2 for the lot in a second hand shop. mirrors cracked, wardrobe rotten, dors to the terace - glass is broken with a bit of tape over it. nothing a few £100 wouldnt fix, so why not do it? You have to buy(or rent) a plastic cup at the pool bar, i get it keeps the mess down but just seems a little odd when you get there or if you forget them and leave them in your room ! Snack bar - nah not my idea of snacks that - cheese and ham and some dry bread Cocktails are extra - even with the local spirits - not very 4* that. Could do with more areas to sit and relax in the evening, the bar is rammed with music from a tv being played, not really relaxing. The large reception area has a sofa and 2 chairs - lovely to sit and relax, if your the lucky ones to get there. There is easily more room for a few more sets and a couple coffee tables in that massive area. 4* should include the use of the safe without paying extra Overall we had a nice week, and for the price, its better than a week at home, just be prepared to eat out a few nights to relive the boredom of the meals

The best thing about this hotel is location. We upgraded to a sea view on arrival which was better than the pool view which was sonoisy. The room was the same as the rest of the hotel. Shabby room, peeling paint everywhere and parts of doors falling off. The sofa in the room had a sheet covering it which was probably to cover how dirty it was. The air con did not work so the room was very hot and difficult to sleep in. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Pillow was lumpy. A kettle in the room had a British plug on it so I assume it was left there. No toiletries in the bathroom. Uncomfortable chairs on the balcony. The toilets by the pool had rusty taps and the usual peeling paint. The buffet room was in the basement with no outside area and no windows and was stuffy. Only ate breakfast there twice due to this. Wanted to sit outside to eat. We were only B&B. Food was tepid. The music during the day by the pool was so loud it was ridiculous. I like pool music but not so much when it was like it was a club you were in. Not relaxing if you wanted to relax. The evening entertainment was your typical singers in a stuffy bar again inside even though there was a stage area outside by the pool. Not sure why this was not used. I would rate this a 2*. It in desperate need of a refurb and could be a fantastic hotel in the location it’s in if it was updated. Would I go back? To the area yes, to this hotel NO!
