"It’s out of town, but as a place tovisut, Corsica isn’t really about the towns. Aside from the views from the hotel itself, there are paths to the riverside not far away. Grumpy madame? Not in my experience - though that was possibly assisted by my first words being in French. Our rooom was well appointed, with more electric sockets than our previous Corsica hotels, and wi-fi that works properly. Minor exception in the bathroom, which had examples of two globally common faults - a hand sink plug that doesn’t keep water at all well, and thw shower experience where a screen along the too of the bath has a considerable gap. Breakfast is a bit of a mixed bag - some common options missing, but lots of local options including good charcuterie, though some of the cakes seemed raher dry - local style, I think. The rare human rather than a machine provding coffee didn’t really understand how English folk might like their coffee as well as some other people in Corsica. Impersonal as it may be, a machine would probably have been better for us. No restaurant, but the one just a few minutes walk up the road is very good. First of 5 Corsican hotels chosen by our holiday company with a lift, and entrances at ground and road level (different by 3 floors). If you can get a parking spot on the road, that avoids a fairly tight lower car park with a tree as an extra challenge."

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel; the room was spacious and comfortable and very quiet. The location is excellent, in the centre of Corte, and the decor is modern but with a classic style. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating."

"This is one of those hotels where you know you have struck gold the moment you walk through the doors! Everything about it oozes style and quality, let alone its stunning location above a river gorge, and the terrace and pool overlooking it. Dinner was booked for us at the restaurant opposite as the hotel restaurant isn't open in the evening (don't let that put you off: our dinner was excellent!) We had a 'river view' room and it was lovely to open the doors to the balcony and hear the sound of rushing water below. The breakfast buffet was one of the finest I have seen, with home-made calls, and a big selection of home-made mueslis and granolas. This is quite a magical place, and we wished we could have stayed for more than one night."

"This is the second time we visit this great bourgeois house successfully transformed into hotel. Rooms with large common terrace very large. View of Corté and the city centre. Nice swimming pool A 10mn from the city centre. Super plan. Therefore, we must reserve very early, especially for the ultra-trail."
