"My husband and I were married at Domaine des Étangs and had the most beautiful wedding here! It's hard to describe how idyllic this location is, from the incredible food to the beautifully appointed amenities. The hotel staff are so kind, professional, and helpful. We had unexpectedly cold and rainy weather for the wedding, the hotel was completely filled with guests, and the staff went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and everything run smoothly, just as they have in our past visits. Part of why we chose this location for our wedding is that it is not just a beautiful place, it is a special place with a unique history and charm to which we will always return. We must give a special thank you to Matthieu Pasgrimaud and the staff at Restaurant Dyades who made our Rehearsal Dinner unforgettable. Also, to Julie Jeantet Nasri and the incredibly talented staff at the spa who saw many of our friends and family during the wedding. And specifically Julie, who made a calm space for me on the morning of my wedding and is absolutely exceptional. "I'm a fan of a good boutique hotel, and this one is a treat. It's utterly charming, a chic renovation of a historic building right in the heart of Jarnac. The new owner is a delight and knows the region intimately. ALL the rooms are winners; the owner gave us a full tour and you can't go wrong. Just know that Jarnac is quiet and like much of rural France, many of the restaurants will be closed on Monday nights; you may have to go to Cognac for dinner on a Monday but that's easy; it's only a few kms."

"Parking in the underground carpark was challenging to say the least. Like playing Tetras with cars! The colour scheme is garish throughout and the floorboards squeak incredibly loudly with every movement in the bedroom making sleep very difficult, with really loud noises coming from within your own room and from next door! Pity anyone sleeping underneath a room with such a racket coming from above with every step and movement! Having said that, the staff were very friendly and couldn't be faulted."

"숙박에 관한 거의 모든 것이 훌륭했습니다. 침대는 매우 편안했지만 텔레비전이 있는 레이아웃이 어색했습니다. 샤워 헤드는 환상적이었지만 포장 마차에는 세면 도구를 보관할 선반이 필요했습니다. 아침 식사는 정말 다양했지만 뜨거운 항목은 정말 뜨겁지 않았습니다."
