It sounds like a nice idea, hotel on a square right on the old town..but reconsider!!! Room was nice but oh boy the noise from outside...day and most of the night! One night some half drunk Greeks decided to have a "conversation"...at 5 in the morning. End of your rest at night...

We loved it here. Situated in a quiet little street in the Old Town with shops and restaurants close by. The room was perfect as it was on the ground floor and was very cool. It had a large bathroom and plenty of space to move around and sit. The lady in reception was so welcoming and always smiling.

Great Hotel...Just wrong room! I have stayed here three time's and as expected the room and service was very good,however I have always stayed in the ground floor double room and although last time we did have some noise from the street outside this time unfortunately we not only had noise from a group of rowdy youngsters but one of them proceeded to rattle the doors to our room much to the amusement of his/her mates who were laughing,shouting and swearing outside the room until the wee hours!

All the staff were so lovely and accommodating! Helped us with basic Greek phrases and let us leave our luggage for the day before our flight! The hotel itself is beautiful with massive rooms and lovely artwork! Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous stylish apartment in a side street off the main thoroughfare into Chania, about 7 minutes walk from the main bus depot so super easy to get the bus from the airport and then get to the apartment. Only 2 euros 20 to get into town from the airport and it's the last stop, so you don't have to stress about where to get off. The room was incredibly spacious. Central to everything. Air con was great. Lighting was very atmospheric. There was a very useful safe and a small fridge to store drinks which came with welcome bottles of water. Shower pressure and hot water excellent. Very clean. Key code entry so no fuss to get access to the apartment. Small supermarket in the same square. We loved our stay. Disliked · We chose the ground floor so we could wheel the suitcase straight in and not have to carry it upstairs. We read reviews it could be noisy on the ground floor and it was, even though we didn't get back until gone mid-night most nights, we'd still have people chatting outside in the early hours. Very quiet in the mornings though, so lay-ins were not disturbed. We had to pull the curtains so people couldn't see in, which was a shame. Some window film or voiles would quickly sort that.

What a little gem Originally booked a ground floor room but after our 1st night i asked if we could be moved as it was terribly noisy (had read this in other reviews but didnt think it would be so bad) spoke to Eline and she gave us an upgrade to the room above which was so much quieter, couldnt fault anything, it was clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. Excellent location for exploring Chania old and new town, taxi and bus station all within a 5 minute walk as is the old harbour, whilst here we did Samaria gorge, Balos bay, Gramvousa island, Aghia Marina. Not much in the way of a beach however we found a nice little area to the right of the harbour probably about a 20 min walk with lots of drink stops on the way, a very small beach with no shade or sunbeds but this wasnt a problem for us, the sea however was amazing and so safe and shallow great for little ones.
