Tadoba Tiger Resort

Travel- We travelled from Navi Mumbai to tadoba by car . One very important point do not take Nashik shirdi route to travel and avoid GPS at times. GPs will take short cut routes but that will be expensive for the car as the village roads are totally damaged. The best route to travel is through Mumbai Pune expressway - Ahmednagar- Aurangabad- Darwa road - yavatmall bypass and reach chimur. From chimur to shegaon and then you reach tadoba. This route is the best. If you car is old then please take additional precaution by carrying few distill water and coolant with yourself if the car gets heated up. Due to bad roads these are additional precautions Stay - There is no better place than MTDC tadoba. This is the best place and most reasonable place to stay . Even children will enjoy because of lot of space and play ground. For family it is safe and staff members are polite. Food- At MTDC the restaurant runs on time from morning 7.30 to 3pm and from 6 pm to 10 pm. If you are reaching late afternoon then we will suggest you to have your lunch at highway itself as you will not get any food at MTDC. Carry lot of snacks with yourself as you will not find any good resturant on your way . Booking process in tadoba national park - There are two ways of booking - online booking of gypsy ( which you should do from your home before you leave for travel ) and canter booking ( open bus) which you can book in advance and if you are lucky you can also get it from the tadoba gate . However canter will not cover most of the areas and gypsy is much better option though it is not costly ( 6000 for 6 person ) and camera charge will be 250 . Are you lucky to watch tiger- Frankly speaking this is luck . If your guide is enthusiastic and alert then you will be able to get a glimpse of Tiger orelse there are are lot of other animals and birds which will make you happy . Summer is the best time to go though it is very hot but animals are thirsty and they will likely say hello to you . Any further detail required please feel free to write back .
