'Okay hostel for one or two night(s). Staff at reception is friendly & speaks English. Pool has no water & WiFi was not always stable. Not very well cleaned - my kettle had ants in it (see photo).'

'The room is ok for a short stay. It’s located near the bus station which was very convenient for me. The hotel is a bit old and rusty.'

'The location is 5-8 minute walk from the center and French quarter, although not bad located it’s a bit dark at night. As a solo traveler it was bit uncomfortable returning alone by foot. The receptionists are very nice and sweet. My room was clean and comfortable although a bit old not bad at all. I did have a few ants here and there. Overall for just 1 or 2 nights it is not a bad option given the price!'

'The Ramchang Guest House... is a bit of a way outside the ”city.” Battambang feels like a large, overgrown village. The hotel itself reminded me of country guest houses in Mexico. The hotel is in the midst of rice-paddies. Easy to get to the town by TukTuk. The room was not large, but was comfortable. AC worked well. Comfortable beds, with good linens. The dining room serves delicious and affordable meals. They have a good laundry service. The sweet lady even ironed my clothes. (I haven't had an ironed shirt in over 20 years!) There is a swimming pool in the lush, tropical garden. Frangipani flowers under foot scented our meanders through the garden. Over-all a great place. Note: Very little English spoken.'

'Correct dans l’ensemble mais attention aux moustiques, il y en a énormément. De jour comme de nuit, ça ne s’arrête pas donc prévoyez un anti moustique performant. Le staff est très gentil et serviable, ils organisent des visites en groupes et à un bon prix. Et la nourriture de l’hostel est bonne.'

'The hotel is quite appropriate for business travelers. Centrally located with a solid breakfast to enjoy. It’s also quite quiet given its location. The higher you go the better the view too.'
