독립된 작은 섬입니다. 만조 때는 보트로 갈 수 있고, 썰물 때는 트랙터로 갈 수 있습니다. 객실 환경과 섬의 환경은 꽤 좋습니다. 말해야 할 것은 호텔이 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 정전이 나고, 섬의 휴대전화 신호가 매우 약하다는 것입니다(거의 없습니다). 호텔의 wifi 신호도 그다지 좋지 않습니다. 휴대전화와 컴퓨터를 내려놓고 일과 다른 모든 것을 잊고 싶은 사람들에게 적합합니다.

I want to congratulate the Chale Island Resort and its team for their impeccable service. Everything was superb. I enjoyed it so much, every day for the past 6 days! Pick up of luggage in a other hotel days before my stay, no problem! Perfect service. Pick up and drop off at the airport, perfectly on time! Service always with a big smile, and always at your service. The room was very clean every day during my stay. Lot's of food or restaurant choice. I enjoyed the wide variety at breakfast. Really an excellent place to rest after an intense safari trip ;-) And what about the views, sunrises, sunsets, you name it, breathtaking... Went diving, so many thanks to my buddy Evans for a great morning of diving around the island... This was the perfect stay to end my adventure in Kenya, a big ASANTE Chale...

This was my first time at Chale Island but not my first time at the coast or with this The island is stunning, there are so many activities, you feel like you are in your own world. The rooms are clean and beautiful. We were there for new years which was fantastic! We danced on the beach, enjoyed a great barbeque and the staff joined the party which was so much fun. The highlights were paddle boarding, yoga, snorkelling off the beach, and the Mkoko bar! Huge shoutout to the staff, wow so incredible and kind! Paul and Fadilli at the dive shop where we got our paddle boards every day, so helpful and knowledgeable. Sophie the resident marine biologist taking us through the reef teaching us about marine life and the effects of the environment. Dave who came to check on us at every meal to ensure everything was to our liking. Frances our favorite server who always greeted us with a smile. Elizabeth at the gift shop, so warm and welcoming. And Andreas the GM who greeted all his guests daily to make sure we were enjoying. We will be back!! Thank you!

A beautiful place in an awesome setting, my little paradise for 17 days of diving, meals were delicious especially in the Italian restaurant with it´s breathtaking view across the bay and the lovely beach, their crew is exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times, they are environment conscious and do a great job preserving their surrounding, next vacation I bring my mermaid

Wow. Don’t even know where to start. This place is literally paradise on earth All the staff is extremely nice and polite Customer service is 10/10, food is 10000/10 everything was just perfect for our honeymoon Thank you to everyone. We are completely recharged to carry on our travels around east Africa

We visited Chale as a day excursion and were not disappointed. It’s absolutely stunning. Barefoot chic Swahili styling, a gorgeous beach, lovely food, accommodating staff… a fabulous day out. For 120$ you get island entrance, a tractor or boat to and from the mainland, 3 course lunch, towels, sunbeds, access to the 3 pools. Drinks are extra. It cost approx 70$ for a return taxi from our hotel in Diani. Slightly pricey but a lovely experience nonetheless. The accommodation looked great with a mix of apartment style rooms and bungalows. We shall return!

Sands Chale Island We’ve just completed an amazing week staying at Sands Chale Island near Mombasa and our words can only fail to do it justice. Chale island is a real haven of peace located far away from the hustle and bustle of the main Mombasa coastal resorts. The hotel has everything you need and is an ideal get away from it all holiday location and it is by far the best hotel we have stayed in during our current travels in East Africa. The staff were exceptionally attentive and looked after us well at all times. They are friendly and highly professional and nothing is too much to ask. There is a good choice of restaurants which are superb and the choice of food and drink is extensive and excellent quality. Our accommodation was well laid out and comfortable providing everything we needed. The decor on the island is beautiful with so much attention to detail and the furniture and fittings are beautiful. There’s a peaceful ambience and plenty to enjoy if you just need some time out or if you want to take part in some of the activities available. We can’t recommend it enough and we will return.

Everything at Chale Island is 10/10 from the ocean view rooms to the amazing staff to delicious meals including the best home made ice creams and healthy, organic breakfast options ! Ngala is the best waiter in the entire Kenyan Coast ! This is going to be my number 1 holiday destination in Kenya !

You see the pictures and the instagram stories and then sometimes it’s just not that amazing BUT this place was beyond all my expectations. From the moment we got on that tractor towards the Island we were blown away, the staff, the food, the wildlife all faultless. We stayed in an ocean view Bandas, loads of room and two verandas, Omari looked after our room and spoilt us with beautiful floral displays. The managers of the hotel are constantly visible and come and chat to guests, Dave head of the restaurants spoke to us daily asking if everything was ok, the general manager also would come and chat. Seeing turtles hatching was a real treat and the hotel is so respectful with all of its wildlife and that it’s their habitat. We visited all of the restaurants and enjoyed a wide variety of food all of it delicious.The sunset bar is an experience you will never forget and each day is different. The bar staff waiters and waitresses are all so friendly, Brian and Ali to name just two of the great staff they have at Chale. I thought a week maybe to long on a small island but after a weeks safari it was just what we needed and we are very thankful and will be back.

Fabulous hotel! Service and meals were outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. You get an incredible private beach and lagoon with lots of activities - there's something for everyone here. The hotel is absolute paradise! It's probably the best hotel we've visited in Kenya. Would highly recommend this place, especially the over water rooms!

This was our first time to visit after the renovation. The rooms are impressive. The sun set bar is magical. The staff are all wonderful. This is the perfect place for a proper R&R. This remains one of our favorite resorts in the world. Don’t miss the snorkeling!

I hesitate writing this review as I'm not sure I want the rest of the world to know about this magical place. You know a special treat is in store when you cross to the island at low tide on a wagon pulled by a tractor! I would best describe the resort as understated luxury. Everything from the decor, in room coffee selection, furniture etc oozes intentionality. Built around a gorgeous, dazzlingly white cove, the resort has a variety of rooms, peppered discreetly around the island, ensuring maximum privacy for all guests. Since my last visit, the resort has added several food and beverage outlets. Besides the main a la carte restaurant, you can also dine at the Samaki Sushi Bar, have a poolside BBQ or have pizza and pasta at the Italian trattoria. The highlight for me was the new Mkoko sunset deck. Perched on stilts on the water, the bar opens from 5pm and offers eye popping sunset views. The achingly cool bar has comfortable seats, hammock nets hanging along the edge and an incentive mixologist menu. Coupled with modern lounge music, you could imagine yourself in Bali, Ibiza, or Greece. Beyond the attention to details and delicious food, what really made Chale stand out to us was the people. Everywhere you turn, you are greeted with a smiling face and eagerness to please. Idrama and Matano took care of our libations, Paula is on hand effortlessly solving problems with her gorgeous smile. You would be hard pressed to say you couldn't find a manager, they are constantly around, talking to guests, checking that you are satisfied. I have never gone to a hotel and had such personal attention from every member of the management team. You are simply given no space or opportunity to be unhappy or dissatisfied. While the resort caters for adults and families alike, as a getaway for starstruck lovers, it could not be more perfect. We have already pledged to return...often
