호텔 자체 주차장은 모델에 따라 하루 최대 18유로로 다소 비쌉니다. 그러나 호텔 외부 도로 양쪽에 많은 공공 유료 주차장이 있습니다. 점심 시간에 돈이 없고 하루 최대 4.5유로로 매우 비용 효율적입니다. 방은 깨끗하고 침대는 매우 편안했고 우리 방에는 바다를 향한 작은 테라스가 있었고 밤에 바다를 들으면서 잠을 자는 것이 매우 편안했습니다. 조식도 아주 좋았고, 특히 시칠리아 현지 디저트 스낵이 있어서 아주 만족스러웠습니다. 호텔은 카타니아 중심부에서 차로 약 20분 거리에 있습니다. 다행스럽게도 우리는 시내 중심가에 살지 않았지만 약간 외딴 해변에 있는 호텔에서 살았습니다. (호텔과 바다 사이에 도로가 있어 소음에 특히 민감한 친구들은 낮에 차 소리를 들을 수 있습니다.) 또한 수영장은 기상 조건에 따라 운영됩니다. 우리가 갈 때 비가 와서 수영장이 닫힙니다.

One of the best service in all my life! I was in an emergency in the middle of the night, I called more than 10 hotel/b&b in Catania and NOONE accepted my reservation ( hotel 4 star too and so on ). At 03.30 a.m. I found this place and Mr Domenico was so kind to give me a room for the night so I could rest for few hours before my flight. If he didn't help me I would have slept in my car close to the airport. Bad experience with an HAPPY ending thanks to him. I Recommend 100%! Uno dei migliori servizi in tutta la mia vita! Se non mi avesse aiutato avrei dormito in macchina vicino all'aeroporto. Brutta esperienza con un lieto fine grazie a lui. Consiglio al 100%!

A corporate hotel, rooms are very basic. Noisy surroundings from the funfair right next door. Lots and lots of screaming on a Saturday night. Pool was not open for use. They didn’t not even have a courtesy room wherein one could freshen with a shower and a change of clothes once you were checked out of the room. Coffee at breakfast was from a machine and did not taste good. If there is a large group staying there practically all the items at breakfast were finished and not replenished even though we went for breakfast before 08.00. Dinner at the restaurant had a very limited choice and quite expensive for what you get. An aperol & soda costs €10 from the bar. Bathroom in my room was for disabled people - a very very wet room, had to go on hands and knees to dry the floor out of fear of slipping during the night. Hotel is located in Ognina, an Uber costs €15 to the centre, a taxi to the airport costs €35. Not a hotel I would want to return to.

I had high expectations of the plaza hotel , Catania . Classed a 4* . The rooms are lovely , nice decor , spacious enough with mini bar . Bit shabby in the bathroom . Rooftop bar is stunning but very highly priced for what it is so one to avoid I’m afraid if you don’t want to break the bank ! Breakfast is nice , served in the rooftop bar area , lots to choose from with decent staff who try to help with limited English spoke . Reception area has musty smell , needs upgrading to match rest of hotel . Reception staff speak decent English but not too knowledgeable. Lack of public buses here so had to use the expensive taxis service which the hotel will arrange for you . Expect to pay between 15/19 euros to the central area wher you will find the Douna catherdal piazza with its many bars and restaurants and shops . Taxi rank beside side of Douna for return to your hotel . I fell in love with Catania but would stay at a more central location next time as the constant taxi fares did add up to an extra expense . Across the road from the plaza is a lovely beach bar with lovely sea views and the staff here are great so worth a visit . Supermarket just a few yards from hotel. No beach as stated , but you can hire a bed at the beach restaurant for about 10euro .
