B&B 유니베르시타(B&B Universita)

We arrived to the apartment with my fiancée and found out that our room was USED. Somebody has used it and left it without allegedly telling the person who rents it out. The bed was USED and unmade and so was the bathroom full of dirty towels. I called the person who was in charge and he said we could not use the other room that was clean but we would have to wait for him to arrive at the property and come up with a solution.

During our five-day stay as a group of four people in two rooms, we found the rooms and hotel to be nice and clean. The location of the establishment was also good. We appreciated the flexibility shown by the airport shuttle driver when our check-in was delayed. This level of service was highly commendable. However, we did encounter some issues during our stay. One incident occurred on the second day when the cleaning person arrived at 10 AM to clean our rooms, even though we were still sleeping. The knocking on the door was so forceful that it woke us up and scared us in both rooms. We asked if was possible to have a "do not disturb sign" for the next days as we were still sleeping, but unfortunately, we were informed that cleaning only took place at 10:30 AM and no alternative options were offered to us. This lack of flexibility regarding room cleaning hours should be taken into consideration by future guests. Additionally, the breakfast was served at local cafe nearby, offering us just sweets, croissants or brioche. Regrettably, our group included a friend who is gluten intolerant and another with stomach issues. Despite our inquiries, no alternative options were provided for them. It was disheartening to be told that we were the only ones who did not appreciate the delightful Sicilian breakfast. To our surprise, after these two conversations, the owner contacted one of our friends, accusing us of creating too many problems and even said that one of my friends had "mental problems". Consequently, our booking was canceled as a no-show on ***********. This caused us considerable stress, as we believed would be kicked out and needed to find alternative accommodation. After reaching out to the owner, we were informed that we could still stay but the booking was canceled to avoid a negative review. Unfortunately, this led to lengthy phone calls with *********** to avoid cancellation and no-show fees. Overall, while the establishment provided the basics adequately, our experience was far from positive. It's essential for future guests to be aware of these aspects before considering a stay here.

Very attractively designed room with private bathrooms, very clean. It is on a quiet street right at the center of town, a block away from all the fun and restaurants. Andrea is a great host, and arranged for a great airport pickup driver, who also took us on half-day trips to Syracuse and Taormina. Highly recommended.

we were informed as we were getting on a plane that he could not Accommodate a late (11:00 pm) check in. I understand I did not read fine print that was hard to find when I looked back to research. it should be made very clear in bold in describing hotel that this is the policy. A lockbox to accommodate people would be an easy thing. The gentleman refused to help us or refund us and thankfully we weren’t left standing in front of hotel at 11:00 and we had time to book elsewhere. A little grace would be nice in a situation like this as well as a way for tired travelers to access their room.

It would be a wonderful idea to change the mattress. It was a bit hard and I could feel the metallic strings when laying

Zentrale Lage in der Innenstadt. Trotzdem ruhig. Einchecken über WhatsApp ohne Probleme. Gerne wieder.

Zentral gelegen und doch ruhig. Das italienische Frühstück im benachbarten Café war sehr nett. Parken ist etwas Glücksache aber machbar. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen.

Agli inizi di giugno 2023 mi accingo a prenotare delle stanze presso questo B&B cercando di telefonare. Ricordo ancora che chiamavi per ben tre volte consecutive(volevo pernottare in questo B&B perché praticamente è al centro) mi sento rispondere dal titolare in maniera maleducata e aggressiva dicendomi che chiamando per tre volte consecutive stavo disturbando. Senza parole………….

Questa è la nostra quarta esperienza in questo fantastico B&B. Abbiamo una visuale generale di ogni singola stanza, avendole provate tutte e possiamo affermare che sono una più bella dell’altra. Colorate, curate in ogni minimo dettaglio e molto fresche, essendo nuove. La zona colazione è sempre in ordine, pulita e molto fornita, per ogni gusto e accessibile ad ogni ora del giorno. Seppur vorremmo trovare un difetto, in realtà non esiste. I bagni sono molto carini, forniti di tutto, asciugamani, phon e altro. Balcone ampio in quasi ogni stanza. Condizionatori facili da utilizzare e molto efficienti. Per ultimo, ma non per importanza, vorremmo menzionare e ringraziare il proprietario, Andrea, per la sua cordialità, disponibilità e simpatia. Ci ha fatti sentire come a casa e in onore di questo, siamo sempre tornati qui senza mai cambiare posto. Grazie Andrea da Jessica e Cristian 🤩
