The service was great. The hotel is also easy to find. The location is very good. I requested a high floor room and was arranged for a 19th floor. The view is beautiful, you can see the Parliament House across the river. The sheet and quilt were not very clean. The facilities are a little bit old.

Hotel didn’t prepare the bed as I requested at the booking. I asked for better level and lake view room as I have kids who expect to look at the lake but eventually the hotel allocated my big family at the lowest level with the view facing the car park! Lot of noise over the night! My family couldn’t sleep well! I won’t come back again.

Arrived early - while room wasn't immediately available, staff made it a priority for us to access and we were able to leave our bags at Reception. Staff were polite and informative including advice as to where facilities were located and how access could be made. Room was ready at the time advised.

There is major construction noise outside the hotel. It went all through the night. We had to leave the hotel and stay elsewhere. The hotel has originally agreed to provide a refund, however it has not been processed. A month later and I am still trying to chase this up. Very unpleasant experience all round for our family.

Big apartment with great views over the lake and up to Parliament House. Apartment could use a bit of updating but overall very happy with the space and price. Walking distance to great eateries, the lake, museums etc. Would definitely stay again.

Spacious 2 bedroom with big living area and full kitchen. Nice view of the lake through full length windows. Heater worked well though no heater in the second bedroom. Walking distance to the CBD and the lake, though a bit far with kids (20-30 min walk) and park in in Canberra is expensive ($6 for an hour), but central to drive to many places of interest. Good place to base yourself out of if you value space over style. Handy to have a full kitchen (and laundry) though a few extra items in the apartment would have made the experience better. Negatives: Hot water seems to be run per individual unit, and the first night I showered after the kids had a bath and the shower went stone cold once I’d soaped up which was horrible during winter. One thin tea towel and a small sponge for the kitchen. Wouldn’t take much to spruce up the accessories provided to make an old building more comfortable for guests. Eg; 2 better quality tea towels and a proper kitchen cloth; Kitchen scissors and measuring cups would be good; Better knives - only one relatively sharp knife available; More than one cutting board. There was no salt and pepper or milk when we arrived, I went down to ask for more coffee after a few days and the lady at reception was lovely, saw she had all of these things and extra dishwashing powder which she provided to me but it would have been better to have this all in the rooms with enough supplies for our stay. $15 a day for parking, though I was offered to have 2 days free if I signed up to a free Accor membership so there’s that.

Master bedroom and lounge/dining area was great size. Loved the king size bed and two bathrooms. Second room with two single beds was very small. Couldn’t even get into the cupboard so had to leave suitcases and clothes in dining area. Room could do with a deep clean to remove dust and debris (especially needs more cleaning focused near beds and couches as we found some unsavoury items in these areas). We found staff to be polite and accommodating at all times.

I have to say that it was only the exceptional customer service from Rosa on the night shift that turned this from pretty much a zero to satisfactory. The check in process was a nightmare. The guy on reception wouldn’t open the front door (which you are unable to open without a swipe) wouldn’t answer the phone but could be seen having a great laugh about it with the people he was talking to. The rooms are large, great kitchen & warm but could do with a deep clean, & new bedding. Given the cold Canberra climate, electric blankets might be a good addition to the rooms. Showers are tiny. Amble underground parking available at a very reasonable $15 a night. Rosa was super helpful & knowledgeable which made the world of difference after some long days. For the price point lots of other, better options available.

Absolutely uninhabitable. Very dirty carpets, very old fittings and furnishings, lift not working. We were horrified. I'm very surprised that this passes regulations. We could not stay and cancelled our booking. Roja, Assistant Manager was absolutely lovely and did her very best, offering us an upgrade, but that room, too, was awful. We found a new, beautifully appointed luxurious 2 bedroom apartment elsewhere for $80 less.

Stayed in a two bedroom apartment, phone didn’t work, kettle broken, no bedding for sofa bed, lots of dust, dirty floors, loud air conditioning, bathroom had holes a the tiles and was very rundown. We had another booking for a week, later in the year that we have cancelled, and we will stay somewhere else. For an Accor hotel (and I stay in lots of Accor hotels) this is of a very low standard.

Central location to enjoy the city and walk the attractions. Ample parking available with good amenities, including centrally heated pool and gym.
