We moved here from the globales palmanova palace and these hotels are black and white in comparison. The decor is tasteful and modern with new clean furniture, the beds comfortable and the rooms and hotel grounds are impeccable. The food here us definitely world's apart too. I'm sure globales hotels all use the same supplier so I'm confused as to why the palmanova palace food is terrible but the santa Lucia is amazing. After moving to this hotel we very rarely ate out, however at the prior hotel we had to eat out at every meal. If you are considering this hotel it is well worth the extra money

Arrived on 4th June with my husband brother & our rooms were next to one another on first look on line at the rooms which seemed ok however after unpacking it sunk in how small the room was especially the balcony, had breakfast the next morning which should have been easy but twice the omelette I order the guy gave it away to another guest, let that go so we didn’t do breakfast much after that, slightly annoying how you couldn’t pay for food or drinks with cash only with a card Once we got ready to go outside to a sun lounger where there was literally the odd one left we were told you have to Q up for one from around 7.20 to open at 8am what a joke this was the average age range was around 70-75 however the horrendous music blaring away you wouldn’t think so you never got a moment peace from it I haven’t Q’d for a bed for years so was pretty shocked, the food was mediocre at best & repetitive, rooms were not the best cleaned & the key fob we had to go down 8-9 times to re programme it. would I go again possibly not especially when we asked about the infinity pool we were told they are for privilege guest from floor above 6 never saw this advertised so obviously not for the likes of us Never been to a hotel where you’re charged €1 euro a day to change your towels not classy is it, Overall the position of the hotel is excellent location wise but slightly tired internally I would advise them if they want to class it up a little change the sun-loungers to once that have wheels because the racket they make when you move them is horrendous maybe you can get the VIP to pay for them !!!!!!

I have just returned home from another lovely holiday at Santa Lucia, staying in room 310, have been returning to the hotel for the last 13 years. The hotel has wonderful views, overlooking two beaches, location could not be better. It is a lovely, pristine clean, hotel with lovely, helpful staff. The reception staff are lovely, special mention to Karen who, on walking into hotel, knew my name before I’d even checked in, made me feel special. The cleaners do an excellent job. The restaurant staff are also lovely with special mention to the maitre’d. also special mention to Miguel who is an asset to the hotel and it is sad that he is retiring this year, I will miss him. I always treat the staff with the utmost respect and see them as my little Spanish friends. The food is what you make of it. While I understand the reviews that have moaned about the food, I personally always found something to eat, breakfast is amazing and I’m so pleased to see that this year, the scrambled eggs were cooked more. The fried eggs and omelettes are cooked fresh, along with the pancakes, there is everything that anyone could want. A suggestion I would make is to have bottles of sauces on both sides of the buffet area as when you get the breakfast on the left side of the buffet you then have to walk round to the other side for he sauce, and maybe have sachets of sauces rather than bottles as there are still the selfish people that take the bottled sauces to their tables. The evening meals were good, especially enjoyed the American and Italian themed nights. However, please turn up the air conditioning as some nights it really was too hot in the restaurant. I never went round the pool this year as didn’t want to have to get up early to try to get a sunbed round the pool, so I went to the beach each day which is lovely and only a few minutes walk from the hotel on either side. My room was lovely and air conditioning was good. Cleaning good, I apologise for forgetting to put the “do not change bed linen” card on my bed which I forgot on multiple occasions. I look forward to returning to the hotel twice next year in May and September, returning to see my friends.

A great big thank you to all the entertainments team especially Angie who was a great help to me as I am blind and with her help and encouragement made it possible for me to get involved with the games. This Hotel is a really nice and clean hotel , the food plentiful but not always hot , the rooms are very clean and well taken care of , the MAIN problem with this hotel is the lack of air conditioning in ANY areas , the rooms just have a very weak blower that at best just circulates warm air , my wife and I have hardly slept , the bar and restaurant areas are so hot it’s unbearable, all you ever see is people wafting menus to try and cool down , this Hotel is definitely not 4* , if the management could get the food hot and the rooms cold it would be most definitely 4*

Great location full of amazing people. Food was always cold, room totally clean. The drinks aren’t to my liking (I prefer coke) only Pepsi was offered or Spanish orange which is watered down - the towel situation is the same as the other reviews but if don’t mind climbing about 10 steps go up upper Ievel it’s very quiet and beds as always free. Best part of our holidays was Angie the entertainment girl who made us smile everyday each activity special mention to her breathwork, stretching and her aquagym. All activities full of nice vibes and great energy.
