I reserved and fully paid for 13 nights at Las Palomas Apartments Econotels in mid-August 2024, paying extra to allow for cancellation up until shortly before our trip. The night before our trip (just after the cancellation deadline), my wife had severe pains in her chest and was admitted to a hospital emergency room where she spent the night. As a result, our trip was cancelled, and she is not allowed to travel for several months. I immediately contacted Las Palomas Apartments Econotels to inform them that we would not be able to use the room and asking for an exception – that they accept to refund us in part or in whole, or at least consider giving us credit for a future stay. I provided them with documentation from the emergency room proving that this was due to a serious medical emergency. Las Palomas has refused to make any exception, and their consumer service people were, to put it nicely, brusk – showing no empathy whatsoever with our situation - unlike the 2 other hotels we had reserved. Note that they are currently sold out - it would be easy to sell the room to others (and I suspect that they have done so in any case). We would not consider returning to this hotel and would recommend that others consider looking elsewhere for their trips to Mallorca.

Great location and apartment was clean and very functional. Only complaint was the shower which really needs a good clean Promise on reception was very welcoming and friendly. Always smiling We would use these apartments again. Great value for money

Booked this place as we were coming away for a short break with my daughter and grandson. Stayed numerous times all around Palma nova and can honestly say this was by far the worst. Apartments are in a n excellent location but that was the only positive. We had adjoining rooms and unfortunately my daughters room stank of sewerage and damp. My Grandson went to bed on the 3rd night to find his pillow and top of mattress were soaked as the air con was leaking over it. My room was "ok" if you didn't notice the live socket hanging out of the wall and the toilet not flushing as the button on the cistern was broken. We went first thing in the morning to report the problems only to find the so called lovely Promise was missing so we returned later in the afternoon to report the problems. Her response was "well how did you sleep if it was so wet then" she said OK I will report it. It was fixed and bedding changed that evening. My grandson rushed out of the room and left the one and only key inside so they were locked out . My daughter went to the so called office to ask for a spare to get in only to be met with abuse from the obnoxious Promise saying to my daughter that "you lot are nothing but trouble" Im sorry but if you don't want reports about YOUR problems in the apartments don't have signs on the back of the door stating any problems to be reported to reception immediately. The CLEANING is done every 3 days, if you can call cleaning making beds and changing towels only No actual cleaning was done. So if you want to stay in FAWLTY TOWERS then book here but if you want a clean and pleasant stay then pay a few quid more and book one of the numerous fine hotels and apartments that this lovely resort has to offer

Please do not stay here !!! These are workers apartments !! If you want basic and not clean then it’s the place for you!! Reception can only be described as store room and restaurant and bar ( no words) !!! Didn’t see one cleaner …… Shower curtain was black with dirt. Air conditioner is above the single bed that leaked every night into pillowcases!! Two single beds that I can only describe as children’s beds !! Balcony was stinking. Room smells like cxxp and damp. If you have low standards this is place for you. Stay away……..

Great location.reastaurants close by, sea 50m, building has some age but apartments good, bus nearby, magaluf 5min walk, A11 bus to and from airport, bus to palma 30 mins,worth a trip, aldi 10 min walk, big mercadona 15 mins or get 104 bus

Building itself is very rundown and rooms are basic. Don't expect any luxury. The pool wasn't open when we were there but you have to pay to use it. Wouldn't recommend it for families with young children. Showers are good and kitchen has all you need if you fancy cooking. Tv only has Spanish channels. Reception was friendly.

This hotel is a perfect location, so close to the beach and the restaurants. We had the sea view room and the view did not disappoint us for the price we paid! The reception staff was really lovely and helpful. At night, the build was very spooky as it is an out dated building with no lights along the corridor. The room were clean only issue is the walls are so thin! We couldn’t sleep for three nights due to the neighbouring room antics… The pool lady was quite rude.

Perfect location for a holiday in Palmanova. Clean and tidy apartments, real value for money. We'll equipped kitchen and very spacious. We stayed for two weeks and travelled around the island but it was a great base to come back to. I can't compliment the reception staff enough, Promise is one of the nicest people you will meet and the service in the bar is second to none. If you want a cheap and cheerful holiday in the south west of Mallorca then look no further.
