Premier Inn Cardiff Bay

I loved how convenienty located the hotel was to mermaid Quay. It was also located near to a bus stop which took us to the city centre. The reception was really nice :) there are some constructions going on so our room had the windows covered (which I didn't prefer) but it was still nice

Close to the Cardiff Bay area and a very short bus to the main city and Cardiff Castle. Breakfast was excellent (but no muesli). Rooms spacious but no fridge (I think that the UK don't do fridges) we did enjoy our stay and would fully recommend staying here. Car park is next door at a multi carpark which is subsidised by the hotel @ 25 - 30%.

Staff always lovely and look after you, nothing ever to much trouble always do all they can to make sure your stay is a good one. Would only use the Premier Plus rooms, they are looking tired and could do with a good clean but I guess rooms here are always in high demand so not an easy task. Can never fault the staff though. Our recent stay was spoilt by children being allowed to run wild for a good couple of hours, by midnight we had had enough and ready to complain but others had already informed staff and they were on it.

No problems with room itself. Upon arrival child's bed not made up. Reception not staffed, and nobody came when bell rung on two occasions. Breakfast was mayhem, usually 2/3 hot food items unavailable, and so a huge queue, clearing out each tray as soon as provided. One chef working his socks off, but unable to keep up. Staff in restaurant too busy to help, with no cups for hot drinks; when asked suggested trying another coffee machine, also empty. Fire alarm sounded, staff turned off and disappeared, nobody in a busy reception and restaurant told what was happening; wife in shower at the time, so panicked.

Had a great couple of days stay here for the Bruce Springsteen concert and would highly recommend it. Loved the location. Bars and restaurants nearby but a bit quieter than being in the city centre. Only a 20 minute walk away so it really is the best of both. All the staff were fantastic and so helpful and are a real credit to Premier Inn! Will definitely be back, thank you!

I had theatre tickets for Christmas so wanted to stay in a hotel instead of a long drive home. The Premier Inn wad next to the theatre and very reasonably priced. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was tasty. Everything was as I expected. I would have liked to check in early but there were no rooms ready. However, the staff were very helpful and put our baggage in a safe holding for us.

Just back from a good stay at the Cardiff Bay Premier Inn. Great location and spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing! However, I felt very sorry for the staff on the Friday night, trying to manage a very busy bar and restaurant, then at the same time constantly being buzzed to the front desk. We dined at 21.20 and the service was extremely slow, however not the fault of the staff. The poor lady was rushing back and forth. You really could do with a someone on reception constant, especially at a weekend. The food was surprisingly excellent for a chain hotel. Great stay, just help the staff with a couple of extra bodies :-)
