This charming house is spacious, set back from the main road, 1 mile from Acadia National Park and 3 miles to downtown Bar Harbor with ocean views of Hulls Cove! Hulls Cove beach, restaurants, and convenience store are in walking distance. Come see what beautiful Bar Harbor has to offer with this spectacular location in a lovely old home. Featuring a fully stocked kitchen, WIFI and a washer and dryer. Plenty of room to spread out and lots of windows with fresh Maine air to enjoy. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 full bathrooms, one on each floor. Two large bedrooms have water views - one king size and one queen size. The third bedroom has two twin beds. All bedrooms are upstairs and have fans and windows for hot nights. The living room downstairs has a queen size pull out sleeper sofa if spreading out is required. Included with your rental are all sheets, bedding and bath towels. A basic starter set of toilet paper, dish soap, garbage bags, and paper towels are supplied, however you may need to replenish those items during your stay. There is also a gas grill and a Smart TV for streaming services (no cable).Please note we have a security camera in the garage, letting us view the driveway and front entrance. Daylily is a wonderful base for exploring Acadia National Park during the day then shopping, dining, and porch sitting in the cool of the evening. The waterfront, our downtown, Acadia National Park’s Bar Island, and the Island Explorer Bus service are only a few blocks away. The Explorer provides free access to many parts of Acadia National Park. Huckleberry is available by the week, June - September with a Saturday check in. October - May, our town requires a 4 night minimum stay.Daylily’s first floor has a half bath, its own dedicated high speed internet, aliving room with a futon, Roku TV, board games, puzzles, and books for people of all ages. The dinning room table seats 6 and the fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, makes food prep easy. Upstairs there is one bedroom with a king size bed and two bedrooms with queen beds. The home underwent a complete renovation in 2020. The location is perfect for walking to shops, dining and entertainment. Walkable to the town waterfront which is a hub for sightseeing, whale watching, kayak tours, etc. This is ideal for those wanting to enjoy the convenience of downtown Bar Harbor with very easy access to Acadia Natl Park.This house has parking for 2 vehicles. It has an outdoor outlet close to the parking space. This house is designed with comfort of our guests in mind. There are many spaces to spread around the house.There is a porch with two cozy swivel sofas for conversations/downtime in-between your adventures. To the left of the house is a fenced outdoor patio with cushioned chairs providing seating for six. It has an oversized umbrella provided with solar lights providing nice ambience at night. There is an outdoor BBQ grill. The place is perfect for lounging anytime during the day or evenings.The living room has power leather recliners (sofa, loveseat, & recliner)to enjoy the 70 inch smart tv. We offer complimentary Netflix and Disney + so you don’t miss out on your favorite shows & movies!The dining area offers a dining table for 6 and 2 for breakfast counter dining. The kitchen has a granite counter top, and is equipped to cook a full basic meal. We also provide a lobster pot and crackers. The second floor has 3 private bedrooms and a separate full bath (walk-in shower and double vanity sinks).Two of the bedrooms has queen mattresses each and one bedroom with two twin beds. Each bedroom has an A/C to provide comfortable temperature while you rest. There are ceiling fans to all second floor bedrooms and the living room. There’s also an AC in the dining room. The house is four seasons. It is heated with baseboard water heater in the cold months of November to early April. The outdoor patio furniture's will not be available from November to April. The grill is however available during these cold months if requested. Highlight of location:This is in a prime location. You cannot get any closer to the Village of Bar Harbor as well as access to Acadia.Picture yourself waking up early in the morning to drive up to Cadillac Mountain and be one of the first to see sunrise in America-then spend the rest of your day in Sand Beach, Jordan Pond, hike Ocean path etc.At the end of the day- you go home- leave your car in the house and walk through town, have ice cream, have a nice afternoon or sunset stroll along the waterfront or shore path and enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants in the Village- or opt for take out and enjoy your meal while at Agamont Park and enjoy the amazing views of the Waterfront. The Hulls Cove Visitor Center of Acadia National Park is only 2.5 miles or 6 mins drive from the house. Access to Eagle Lake through the carriage roads is a mere 2-3 minutes ride. The property has parking for 2 vehicles, depending on the vehicle size. This is a huge convenience when parking is very limited during peak tourist months and since the town had instituted parking regulations/ restrictions and parking metersGuests with service animals are encouraged to notify the host / owner because of animal hair allergy by one of the owners / host who is closely engaged with maintaining the property. The third room has a twin bed over a twin bed (bunk beds that measure 38 inches wide x 75 inches long mattress). One of the room with queen bed has a smart TV. Full bathroom has heater to ensure warm and comfortable experience. The lower level (basement) is accessed via full flight of stairs. It features the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with washer and 2 dryers. This features a comfortable memory foam queen sized bed.
