부다바르 B&B(Budavar Bed and Breakfast)

Das B & B ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen! Die Lage ist zwar zentral, aber auf einer Anhöhe, die nur für sportlich gute Besucher erreichbar ist. Der Balkon war super, der Hausherr ebenso sehr bemüht!!

We had an amazing stay in this b&b. We found ourselves in a difficult situation after our original accommodation failed and this b&b was able to provide a room for 4 of us at a very short notice. The location was great, central and yet very quiet. The room was spacious, clean and very cosy. Gentleman who did the check-in was very kind and helpful. Amazing views both from the windows of our room and the balcony where we had our breakfast. We would happily come back again. I would highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Budapest.

The location of this property is great; right at the foot of the Castle area. Great view of the river front and Parliament. There are few eating places in the area without climbing the steps to the Castle area. The bed was a little hard for our taste. We got there after dark and check-in did not happen until the next day. The information that they provided made entry into the hotel and access to our room very easy. Please realize that this hotel is a very old building and thus does not contain an elevator which can make carrying suitcases up three or four floors up a winding staircase difficult, especially if you are older like we are. If you check-in or out when the manager is there he will assist with your bags. The owner is very friendly and helpful.. One side note, when visiting Budapest download the Bolt app. It makes it very easy when getting a taxi which often arrives with a couple of minutes. Taxis are pretty reasonable and operate much like Uber.

This property is so close to Fisherman’s Bastion and you can even see the top of the building in the terrace of my room. You can enjoy the panorama view of Budapest whenever you want after a few minutes walk. The innkeeper Viktor is also very nice and helpful to book a taxi for us at 3am. Only down side is the towels a little hard. Add softeners to wash may be helpful. Overall it’s a good choice to stay.

Very nice little hotel. And very nice staff. Nice and peaceful area.

A cozy place in the center of the city. Aside one of the most beautiful monuments. Clean and comfortable rooms and a huge breakfast. Kitchen at your disposal. Good prices. We will return everytime we come back to Budapest.

The room was small but sufficient. The bathroom was always cold but clean, shower was OK. We had a nice balcony over looking some pretty gardens. We didn't have a kettle or fridge but were allowed to use the kettle in the breakfast room whenever we wanted. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was toast, jam, butter, cheese, hams and salamis, salad and olives, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh orange. The bread was very nice. It is in a quiet area but very near the castle. Viktor, the owner was very helpful and even printed our train tickets for us for our next trip.

Host was nice, room was large and looked almost exactly like on picture. Tube and Castle in walking distance. Recommend.

This Bed and Breakfast was spacious, very clean and anyone we met there was extremely friendly. The location can be a bit tough to get to from Bettyany Metro Station as there are a lot of steps to take but still worth the price. Viktor was the host and he was always helpful.
