B&B Speelmansrei

Very nice room with view over the park. Location is also good, close by the centre and also quiet in the night. Room and bathroom are well equipped and the room is spacious. The building is very nice refurbished. The hosts are really nice people and will make your stay in Brugge very pleasant.

This is one of the best B&B we ever been to. The rooms are big, light and really comfy. The beds are so nice that it is hard to get out in the morning an the bathroom is perfect. The owners, Kees and Kathleen, are so friendly and making your stay the perfect stay in Brugges. We also booked the garage which was close by. If you are looking for the perfect stay in Brugges than I recommend this place.

We stayed at Kees and Kathleen’s B&B in November and it exceeded our expectations, I didn’t get the chance to write a review on Airbnb so I am leaving one here. Firstly, the space is so much more beautiful than the pictures give it credit for, Kees and Kathleen have created a wonderful home, and are truly the best hosts we have stayed with. Each morning a very generous home cooked breakfast is served in the dining room, and each day Kees would provide us with a map with different walking routes which we absolutely loved. The room we stayed in was gorgeous, spacious and we felt right at home, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and on top of everything they provide complimentary beers and there is even an elevator! Both Kees and Kathleen were very warm and welcoming, we loved the stories Kees would share with us each morning, he also had some wonderful food recommendations! On our last day, Kees and Kathleen had arranged a taxi for us to take us to the train station however it did not arrive so Kees drove us to the station for free, which was very generous. If you’re going to Brugge, we cannot recommend Kees and Kathleen’s home enough, it was wonderful and we look forward to visiting again in the future. It’s difficult to know where to start on this place as from start to finish it was perfect. As soon as we arrived Kees made us feel super welcome (which is great considering there are only 2 rooms available within their house). The house and rooms are stunning and perfectly located with a canal behind the property and a Michelin star restaurant just round the corner. Breakfast was served with a choice of eggs and bacon with yoghurt, fruit and pastries along with lots of other options (more than you could eat). During our stay both Kees and Kathleen were the perfect guides and provided maps and info with walking tours and all you could possibly need. It honestly felt like we were staying over at our favourite aunt and uncles place and they were super happy to see us. A perfect stay!

Enkel superlatieven! Rustig en toch centraal in Brugge, alles op wandelafstand, zeer verzorgd en uitgebreid ontbijt, grote kamer, goed bed, en vooral vriendelijke eigenaars die nuttige tips geven voor een leuk weekend in Brugge waar zoveel te zien is. Dit was ons 4de verblijf in Speelmansrei, en het was weerom top !

Deze B&B was super! We werden heel hartelijk onthaalt door Kees en Kathleen. Kamer was heel ruim en heel ordelijk, bed sliep zalig!!! Is dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden en toch heel rustig gelegen. Heel handig was de lift! +Super ontbijt met een aangename, familiale babbel. Dit was voor mijn moeder van 81 en mijzelf een ideale mooie serene B&B maar vooral de gastvrijheid van het koppel siert alles nog meer! Dikke Proficiat en doe zo verder !
