Premier Inn Bristol South

Decent hotel and very friendly staff always a nice stay when visiting Bristol, mattresses can do with replacing in some of their rooms, been in a few. Avoid 119 if possible

Towels were tired and frayed, radiator rusty, fan too noisy as on ground floor window hardly opened very hot couple of days in 23c, room not crisp looking as per advertised

I stayed at this hotel due to its location for Hengrove Swimming pool. I had initially booked just one night, but then I added on a second night on a different booking reference. I was also travelling with another family in the same situation. On arrival, we were greeted by a very welcoming receptionist. I asked if I could keep the same room for the duration of my stay. The receptionist took a look but said that there was something preventing her on the system, but to check back in the morning. The next morning I was greeted by another friendly receptionist, and when I asked the same question, it was revealed that the initial lady had sent over a text. Between them they had ensured we could keep our rooms for the extra day (which made our lives so much easier) We had a long day at the swim meet, and when we came back to the hotel, another receptionist was at the desk with a box of chocolates. The lady engaged with the children, asking how the competition went & offered out the bars of chocolate. She was incredibly friendly and engaging. My friend had a problem with her sink plug, and the receptionist shortly went in to rectify this issue for her. I can honestly say, that in terms of customer service, this hotel provided a masterclass. Huge kudos to whoever is at the helm, because it’s a fantastic environment to be around. The hotel itself was great, it was clean & the location was ideal for walking over to the pool. We ate at the brewers Fayre both nights. It was busy with variety of customers, again the staff were friendly and it was a convenient place to easily grab food and a drink. My hotel room was on the front. It was a little noisy in the night due to a group of lads out on the carpark, so I’d recommend requesting a room on the back if you are sensitive to noise. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this hotel again in the future

Ok room but old and needs renovating. Cold even with heating on. Water was warm but not hot. Poor food in restaurant next door, probably better getting something in one of the local fast food places. Good location but probably better options locally.

The location is quite good. We were visiting Bath and it was only 20 mins away. Fast food places within a 2 mins walk. The room was not the best Premier Inn room I have been in. Carpet and furniture looked old. Room was also very cold. Bathroom also needed a good clean and update.

Stayed here as we had an early flight the next morning from Bristol airport. Was given a ground floor room as requested. The room was a bit tired but perfectly clean. Comfortable bed, warm shower. It’s in an ideal location for the airport. There is a Brewers Fayre next door for food and drinks. It was reasonably priced and well cooked.

Bed was so comfortable I had a great night sleep. Perfectly situated with KFC, McDonald's, Dominos and Costa all within a minutes walk. Next to main road but no noise pollution. Vegetarian breakfast was good. Staff are polite

Visited as I had an early morning flight at near by Bristol airport. Plenty of options for dining around if you don’t mind fast food but there is the option also for a meal at the restaurant on site. Nice staff with easy check in and out.

This hotel is nice for a few nights stay, very friendly staff and fantastic breakfast menu.The beds are huge and very very comfy. I have never seen such a great choice of food on the breakfast menu.. I will go back and stay for my next Bristol trip.
