"Restaurant: Very disapointing. The menu choice was only parmas or burgers, nothing else. We chose the Chicken Parma. It was not cheap at $28 but only came with chips, and no salad. Salad costs an extra $5. The menu stated that there was an 8% surcharge on weekends. We asked for water and was directed to a self-service tap. I had to fill my own bottle. What are you paying for if there is no service? We waited and waited for the meal. Too long. When the meal was ready, the chef rang the bell, but the waiter was in another room and didn't hear it. Credit to the Chef, who brought the meal to the table himself while it was warm My wife picked up her cutlery only to find that the knife had not been washed and had food on it from the previous customer. The Parma was not appetizing, the toppings slightly burnt and the chips were by far, overcooked. We couldn't finish it. I do actually like the hotel and believe that it should be delivering fair service like it used to. Common guys... fix it."

"Great location in Dinner Plain and an affordable option for a family. (2A 2C) We stayed in a family lodge room which was spacious and clean. It’s a few mins walk to the dinner plain slopes and closer to restaurants, playground etc. The room had a queen bed and set of bunks, large window seat, small dining table and kitchenette with toaster, kettle and microwave. Small bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Only downside was that the room was very warm with no means to control the temperature."

"Beautiful, small but perfectly formed cottage for 2 set in the most amazing gardens, near the river, and within an easy walk into town. Well set out kitchen with everything provided to self cater. Limited storage space though and only single person sized spa bath. Highly recommend. Friendly hosts."

"Arrived at the Park and was greeted by Narelle one of the Managers. Was very professional , helpful and had a great sense of humour. Felt very welcomed, Narelle would stop and say hello also made sure all was ok with accommodation etc. Gave us great info about the area to what we could go and do or eat. Loved the lawns that were kept nice down near the creek, camp kitchen was great too. Walking track into porepunkah to the eateries etc. Have booked again! "Just what the doctor ordered! What a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing place. Great spot to tune out from the real world. Waking up to the most incredible view, being greeted by the local magpies, parrots and kookaburras was amazing. One or two were happy to come inside when the door was open. Kylie and James were quick to answer any questions and provided us with a great itinerary for the few days we were there. So close to town but you wouldn’t know it, it was just so peaceful. "I recently stayed in the Chestnut Tree Holiday apartments in Bright with my granddaughter and friends. The accommodation was first class, very clean with all amenities that we needed. The view from the apartment was spectacular and the location perfect. We loved the beautiful gardens, sadly it was a bit cold for the pool but it was very inviting. The hosts Pete and Tracy were very accommodating and great to deal with. Parking under the apartment was very convenient. We all loved our stay and highly recommend this place."
