Just a short walk from the bus stop, this gem of a guesthouse is hands down the best place to stay in Sri Lanka. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, always offering help and thoughtful advice. He even arranged for a local tuk-tuk driver at a very reasonable price, ensuring I had the best experience exploring the area. Every afternoon, he would check in and offer a delightful cup of tea, making the stay feel extra special. His wife’s cooking is an absolute highlight—breakfast was not just delicious but prepared with so much care, adding a homely touch to every meal. The room itself was super clean, big, and incredibly comfortable. From start to finish, they both made me feel completely at home. I can say this was the best accommodation I experienced during my time in Sri Lanka, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable and comfortable stay.

道路から場所が分かりづらいことと、通りからホテルの建物まで暗いのが夜と早朝は困りました。懐っこいですが、犬も寄ってくるので暗闇では驚きます。 もう一点、なぜかホテルのロゴの刺繍部分や縫い目が裂けたバスタオルが2枚。少し変色もしており、最初は雑巾かと思いました。持参すればよかったです。 スタッフが良い方で、朝食についてはとても充実していましたのでそこは安心です。 トータルでは値段相応かと思いました。

As the name suggests, it is a retreat in the jungle. There are no windows, and the trees are the natural windows. You can meet squirrels and monkeys, and you are surrounded by the sounds of many birds and insects in the morning and at night. The hotel offers a variety of activities, which can be booked. The beginning of April, when we stayed, was firefly season, and when it rained in the evening, more than a dozen fireflies surrounded our mosquito net.

사자 바위와 주변 지역을 탐험하고 싶다면 머물기에 좋은 곳입니다. Pidurangala 바위는 tuk tuk으로 불과 15분 거리에 있으며 사자 바위는 도보로 할 수 있습니다(입구까지 도보로 ~ 20분). 그러나 최고의 경험은 호스트의 친절이었습니다. 모든 면에서 우리를 도왔습니다(경로 설명, 활동에 대한 조언, 툭툭 조직 등). 음식은 훌륭했고 우리는 친절한 물건과 흥미로운 대화를 많이 했습니다. 우리의 체류를 훌륭하게 만들어준 Daushna, Larush & Nimal에게 특별한 감사를 드립니다.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour à Sinhagiri villa, l’accueil était très chaleureux, la chambre était très grande et très propre. La Clim et le wifi ont très bien marché. La cuisine et le petit déjeuner étaient très bons et la piscine est un plus appréciable . L’environnement était très agréable en plein nature, avec un grand jardin de beaux arbres fruitiers, une petite montagne de laquelle on pouvait admirer le lever et le coucher du soleil. La villa est à quelques minutes de marche du rocher de sigiria, de pidurangala et bien plus. Il ya un joli lac juste en sortant de la villa en allant vers la gauche et un beau petit temple à côté. C’est un établissement très apaisant reposant et réconfortant je recommande et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir

Abbiamo pernottato qui due notti per poter godere delle due attrazioni principali della zona. I ragazzi sono molto disponibili ed il responsabile è un giovane simpatico che ci sa fare! La posizione è molto tranquilla anche se non molto lontano dai locali. Camera buona e anche la colazione servita all'ultimo sulla terrazza che guarda sulla rocca. Di notte la strada sterrata è completamente buia e vi sconsiglio di andarci a piedi meglio se con una macchina o un tuktuk.

Convenient location, 15 minutes to the main attractions of Sigiriya. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, delicious breakfast with a view of the rock. The price is great, we recommend. Thank you!)

Сложно оценивать, потому что не с чем сравнивать. Отель явно не соответствовал ожиданиям, однако номер и постельное белье были чистыми, кондиционер и wifi работали стабильно. Завтра с утра также приятно порадовал. Территория отеля небольшая, но есть парковка, качели, гамак и бассейн. Спасибо !

This was a solid hotel. Staff were very courteous and the room came with a fantastic view of the rock.

Embora a nossa estadia tenha sido curta, foi bastante agradável graças à simpatia do staff em particular do Mr. Ruchira, que nos fez sentir muito bem-vindos desde o início. O alojamento era limpo e confortável, e a localização era excelente. Ficamos impressionados com o cuidado e a atenção aos detalhes, tornando a experiência muito positiva. Com certeza voltaremos!
