While white water rafting, gem mining, and the Appalachian Trail are all nearby, you may find that there is no reason at all to leave. There is ample space for guests to spread out and enjoy fishing, canoeing, billiards, and family games both inside and outside. Our family has traveled the world extensively but has visited Nantahala Lake yearly since our children were young. We started out making it a family vacation but soon felt like we needed to share this experience with our extended family.
