Came here with my 3 children was greeted by colin at the door, very welcoming and friendly. The room was fabulous we stayed in room 1 family room, 2 bunk beds,” and a leather reclining sofa which included free WIFI and SKY and NETFLIX. Into the second room was the bathroom, kettle and supplys, microwave and fridge. Bed was incredibley comfy to say the least, very clean rooms didnt have one complaint would definitely refurn again.

Hotel cancelled booking 1 Week before arrival date . As booked all rooms out to local council . Inform me that all reservations for next 3 months were to be cancelled . Make your own assumptions as to why! Not happy at all .managed to get another at short notice but not as suitable.

Says its been refurbished were I don't know. Hall was pleasant enough. Was given key went to room and wasn't what I was expecting. Doesn't mention sink in the room. Cut our stay short as we didn't sleep very well as could hear the next rooms bathroom noises in the middle of the night. I will not be staying there again.

We booked the winning post a few weeks ago to go for the weekend of April 28-30th for my sons birthday.On the morning of the 25th they cancelled with no explanation. Leaving us with no accommodation and it can take upto 7 days for the money to go back in geh bank so we can't afford to go now . The same room is still available but for now £80 more. It's an absolute disgusting way to treat people to make more money!

We stayed at the winning post hotel saint chads road. The hotel is in a great location just 2 mins walk from the beach at the bottom of the st. You’re right near all attractions. The room we stayed in was a great size it was really fresh and clean, there was even an hairdryer in there which was great as I forgot mine, the room was equipped with a kettle, iron, travel cot, tea coffee and sugar which you could get whenever we liked. Nice fresh towels and bedding, and a good size en-suite with a shower. Downstairs had a dinning area where you could prepare and eat food, it also had a good size variety of cereals and bread for toast, this was free of charge, thoughout the hotel was very clean and fresh, there was even umbrellas hanging near front door for guests. The owners Collin and daisy were absolutely brilliant and so helpful and very friendly to us, they gave us information on where to go for different attractions. They honestly couldn’t do enough for us they were amazing. we all felt really welcome there, we stayed for 1 week and had an amazing time. We will be staying here again for sure and I would recommend this hotel to anybody 5 ⭐️ s from my family of 6. Thankyou collin and daisy you both amazing

Really pleasant from stepping through the door. We stayed in room 2 for one night. Super comfy bed, spotlessly clean. Lovely little extras.. fridge in the room, umbrellas, fan, fluffy towels. The lounge area downstairs was really well stocked with anything you may need- like plates, knives, tea , coffee, towels, loo rolls. The building was spotless , really nice smelling and plenty of info regarding the surrounding area ie, parking etc. The no contact check in was great and on checkout the gentleman ( i think it was Colin), made a point to ask about our stay and if it was comfortable which was a nice touch. If we ever go to Blackpool this will definitely be the 1st choice to stay.

I have absolutely no complaints, room very clean and modern, warm and comfortable with amazing pillows for a great night sleep

Liked · An extremely inviting establishment that is best proportionally priced for what’s on offer. Upon arrival you walk in and you’re welcomed by the wonderful aroma being emitted from the numerous diffusers distributed around the building. Colin and Danielle were very friendly and most helpful when we decided to stay an extra night. In particular I really liked the minimalistic approach which focused on the customer helping themselves to a vast array of tea/coffee etc and clean towels. The room was perfect for our purpose and stay. I’ve reviewed some hotels and or rather squats where they didn’t even have running hot water. No such complaint about the Winning Post, to top that off, if Carlsberg did beds then this is where the Winning Post got them from. You’ll probably never have a better nights sleep, and that includes being at home, than at the Winning Post. With an extra thick mattress and built-in-topper added to the super soft pillows you sink into pure comfort and sweet bliss. Parking isn’t that much of an issue as there is ample parking in the street. Failing to grab a spot, there are parking bays dotted on the main road literally 70 yards away. They say 2hrs maximum and no return within the hour but we noticed vehicles parked up for 72hrs without any consequences. The area itself is clean, peaceful and quiet and is ideally situated between South Pier, (Blackpool Pleasure Beach), and the Town Centre. And yes I know this may read as an advertising endorsement but believe you me it’s not. This establishment is Highly recommended. Disliked · My only negative comment is that they don’t do breakfast but it’s no deal breaker as there are more than enough places to eat within a five minute walking distance. Probably one of the best though is the Lindale Cafe a mere 10 minute stroll that is situated on the corner of Dale Street and Princess Street. They serve good quality home cooked food that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg but most impressive is that you can actually get a 3 course dinner for £8.50
