We made a last-minute booking for a night's stay here and had a triple room on the top floor. Although there were a lot of stairs to navigate, it was manageable for just one night. My husband used the small but old lift to bring our suitcase and bags up to our room. Although our room did not offer much of a view, it was clean, well-organized, and seemed to have been recently decorated. The amenities included tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as the option for hot chocolate, which was a nice extra touch. Additionally, we found a few small packets of biscuits and bottled water, which were pleasant surprises. The ensuite, featuring a separate shower and toilet, was also great. Both were clean and equipped with a dispenser for handwash and shower gel, along with ample towels. We enjoyed the breakfast, which featured a wide variety of both hot and cold options and offered great value for the price. However, there are a few areas for improvement, particularly regarding the mattress on the main bed. We found it to be thin, squeaky, and somewhat uncomfortable, and the pillows were very flat. Our previous experiences with Premier Inn mattresses and pillows may have influenced our opinion, which is why we reduced our rating by one star. The hotel offers free parking, but it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The owner does his best to accommodate guests in need of parking. We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if ever in the vicinity again.

My wife and I have just spent two nights in this lovely hotel. Family run and family oriented, it is a perfect place for a visit to Blackpool. It offers a peaceful environment with stunning sea views well away from The Golden Mile. Close to the tram service for getting around and plenty of places to eat close by. Very quiet despite a few creaks and cracks from the floorboards. It has a lovely homely feel to it but if your idea of heaven is a Travelodge, this is not for you. This place has character, comfort, quiet, nice bar and the best buffet breakfast we have found anywhere. Lovely friendly staff and well organised parking. You don't need a car to get around anyway. Highly recommended.
