We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service. The decision was made to leave and lose £100. We'll stick to the standard we are accustomed to in the future, which meant sadly rearranging plans with family who were staying elsewhere in Blackpool.

Lovely clean room near South Shore. Bathroom was lovely with a powerful shower. Quick friendly check in. Comfortable bed. Only let down was the coffee machine did not work and no alternative coffee supplied. Not a happy boy without my morning coffee.

Me and my wife stayed here for two nights for are first wedding anniversary and we where very disappointed with it said we had the best room and the bath never had a spa and it was very dirty around the in side of the bath like it has not bin cleaned we turned on the water and dirt and bugs fell out of the side. Says it has a bar on site but it wasn't even open. Says you get fresh croissants and pain au chocolates delivered to ur room each morning but there was nothing. Wifi was not the best either. But the woman who let us in was very friendly. Coffee machine only had one flavor with did not taste very nice. Before we was about to leave someone tryed to open are door as we was packing and when i went out i heard the kitchen door close so think they were seeing if we was still there but it was a good job the door was locked. Not one to moan but was very disappointed with the price

Good modern size room with all the amenities you’d need. Clean towels in the bathroom, nice comfy bed. Although we couldn’t get a twin room, we did share a large double and that was perfect. Bathroom is alittle on the small size but has everything you need anyways, brilliant shower! There’s no aircon in the rooms which would make it very hot in the summer. Check in/out was very easy and the staff were so polite and lovely. Good location, very close to south pier and only 15 mins from pleasure beach. Unsure whether you could leave bags there after check out as the hotel isn’t always staffed. Could provide some free water in the rooms for the kettle. Can hear the sound of doors from other neighbours but wasn’t too bad. Plugs might need changing, felt alittle old. Overall, a good room for a very good price on a weekend.

While our room was clean tidy and modernised , there is no way the property is 5 star. There was no on-site staff present and £10 cash payment for parking on top of the room rate should be advertised.

Hotel was cheaply done with no staff on hand and if you find someone to report a problem don't expect it to be resolved before you leave. We felt like we were an inconvenience and found the staff to be lacking in customer service skills.
