"At a meeting today at the Hala Hotel in Bissau, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals served in the hotel restaurant! I really enjoyed the appetizer, the main course, and the very delicious fruit and cake desserts!! 😋😋😋 Everyone else appreciated it! Well done, Hotel Hala!"

"Situated in the very center of Bissau, next to the main street and close to either Praca Imperio or harbour. The rooms are spacious and clean, a huge roof garden allows hanging around. But unfortunately there is no restaurant or bar that would make the stay on that terrace even more pleasant. But no worries: Just on the opposite of the road is a very good restaurant...or even two (I just tried one ot them)! I think that Coimbra is really an affordable hotel in the center of the capital; it might not compare to high standard hotels around the world, but you even do not pay for a high standard hotel. The staff is polite and helpful."
