"We stayed at Hotel Singer for four nights to enable us to walk in the nearby mountains. We were slightly dubious about the prospect of half board but the food was superb. The staff were all courteous and friendly and the facilities were lovely. Great pools indoors and outdoors, lovely sauna area (albeit nude),small gym, cosy relaxation room and while the bedrooms perhaps lacked some character compared to other Relais & Chateau hotels, they were comfortable and well equipped. The village does not have a lot going on so it might not suit visitors without a car but it is smack in the middle of great walking territory with lovely hikes e.g Sebensee Lake nearby. Mr Singer was often in evidence and I suspect that makes a difference as you got the impression the hotel was tightly managed and high standards maintained. We had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone."
