'This is a very comfortable hotel situated in beautiful parkland. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the shower with its large diameter shower head that makes for a good shower. What spoilt my stay was the occupants in the room next to mine returned late at night and had their TV at such a loud volume that it was like being in a cinema. The walls between the rooms have no sound proofing.'

'I had a really wonderful time in the great location of Beechworth. From Beechworth I drove to other great points of interest namely Yackandandah and Bright. I walked along the Canyon Walk in Bright, followed along the Beechworth Gorge and the Woolshed Falls.
The Sambell Lake had a very good walking track around it. Both Beechworth and Yackandandah had great shops and eateries. The Armour Motor Inn was very central for my 3 day stay and the host was very helpful.'

Located in Beechworth this upmarket fully self-contained historical fully renovated stone home offers romantic accommodation for a couple, a family, or a group of up to 6 people, with a stunning French inspired alfresco garden for entertainment or a stroll to the shops, wine bars and cafes in Beechworth.
Quietly located close to Lake Sambel for family fun with plenty of car parking and Kayak and bike storage.
The space
French Cottage is fully renovated with hydronic heating through out for the winter and air-conditioning and nice shaded verandah's to keep cool in the summer.
You have access to the entire self contained house which has three queen size bedrooms and two bathrooms, but please make sure you book for the correct number of guests as additional bedrooms may be locked if we don’t think you need them for your stay.
You also have exclusive use of our beautiful fully hedged quiet and serene French inspired garden, which is also available for small intimate private gatherings, including small weddings. Talk to us about this option if you are considering booking French Cottage and we can discuss further.

Just a four-minute drive from town or a scenic 2 km cycle to the rail trail along tranquil roads, Beechworth Farmstay offers the perfect peaceful escape. Nestled on 26 acres of picturesque countryside, guests can stroll through the property, and meet our friendly four horses, two curious alpacas, and our beloved little toy poodle, Bobby.
Our detached studio is cozy yet conveniently close to the main house, featuring an open-plan design with a luxuriously comfy king bed, a large-screen TV, and a dining area. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you might need: a microwave, a full-sized fridge, a toaster, an electric jug, and a selection of tea and coffee.
We welcome well-behaved dogs—just let us know when booking. If your dog has exceptional recall, they can roam freely by your side, but otherwise, we ask that they remain on a lead for the safety of our animals and your dog. We ask, please that you do not leave your dog alone in the studio, they must be with you at all times. We do not charge any extra for you to bring your pet. This makes your holiday more affordable without kennel fees and without the anguish of leaving your pet. If you want to go somewhere that you cannot take your dog, just ask us if we can look after your dog for you one day. If we can. we will.
Are you a horse rider? With prior arrangements, you’re welcome to bring your horse and explore the stunning forest trails right next door. Whether you bring your dog or your horse, please note all animals on our property are solely and unconditionally at the owner’s risk and you accept this as a condition of making a booking with us.
We offer undercover parking and lockable bike storage, with world-class mountain biking and horse riding trails just a short distance from here. When you're ready for town, Beechworth is brimming with excellent dining options, a vibrant shopping scene (especially for those who love boutique finds!), and a rich tapestry of history waiting to be explored.
