Hotel Carlton은 메인 산책로에서 매우 편리한 위치를 차지하고 있습니다. 버스와 기차 이용이 편리하며 훌륭한 레스토랑이 모두 도보 거리에 있습니다. 호텔은 매우 깨끗하며 친절한 직원이 훌륭한 조식 뷔페와 수영장 옆 점심을 제공합니다. 니스와 모나코 중간에 이상적인 위치를 자랑하는 이 호텔은 매우 편안한 분위기를 제공합니다. 침실은 적당한 크기이며 잘 꾸며져 있습니다.

전반적으로 조용하고 매우 안전한 위치에서 좋은 숙박을 했으며, 컨시어지 서비스도 매우 좋았습니다. 도보로 몇 분 거리에 다양한 해변 클럽과 레스토랑이 있습니다. 방은 크고, 깔끔하고 신선하며 합리적으로 소음이 차단되어 있으며, 우리 바로 위의 방에 있는 사람들이 걸어다니는 소리가 들렸습니다. 하지만 큰 문제는 아니었습니다. 지역은 매우 조용합니다. 팀 중 한 명이 수영장 구역을 더 자주 산책하여 주문을 요청하도록 하는 등 개선할 수 있는 몇 가지 작은 사항(바 서비스와 스낵도 가격이 저렴함), 수영장 옆 정원 구역에 약간의 주의가 필요했습니다. 정원 화단에는 잡초만 무성했고 식물은 하나도 없었습니다. 전반적으로 좋은 숙박이었습니다.

저와 제 고용주는 야간 매니저에게 폭행을 당했습니다. 멋진 식사를 마친 후 전혀 도발되지 않은 채 우리는 밤을 계속 즐기기 위해 호텔로 돌아왔습니다. 우리의 밤은 나이트 매니저가 아무런 이유도 없이 또는 이 일이 발생하기 전에 어떤 도발을 가지고 내 고용주 중 한 명을 공격했을 때 나쁘게 끝났습니다. 고용주가 괜찮은지 확인하러 가다가 공격을 받았습니다. 여기에 머물지 마십시오. 위험에 처하게 될 것입니다!

The Hotel Carlton (and Beaulieu-sur-Mer) was a fantastic place to make base for a week on the Côte d’Azur. First of all, the location is convenient. It is a quick (25ish minute, €25-30) Uber from the airport. The hotel is a quick walk to the train station, making most of the sights of the Riviera very accessible and cheap. There are lots of decent to very good restaurants and easy walk away as well. The beach was also good for sunbathing and a quick swim, only about two minutes away on foot. The front desk gave a warm welcome and they were exceptionally kind and helpful before and during the stay. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and kindness. Despite being a smaller hotel outside of the larger towns, I would recommend it to anyone regardless of their level of French or familiarity with the area. The entire facility gives a very upscale air, especially in comparison to other four star hotels I looked at in nearby towns and stayed at in Nice. Not to mention, the price is incredibly fair for the quality. Drinks at the bar on some nights were very nice, as the hotel is quiet, and the breakfast was delicious each morning and normally very well enjoyed on the terrace. The pool was also very comfortable and peaceful with new loungers and it was slightly heated as a huge bonus. The rooms themselves are very clean, very comfortable, and, again, have a very upscale feel. The air conditioning works well, a necessity for us from the southern US, and the beds were also very comfortable. The window in my room featured an electric, rolling metal blackout apparatus that made sleeping in one day almost too easy! Room service was not obtrusive and did a fantastic job every day. Overall, this small boutique hotel gave a truly boutique experience, sophisticated and relaxing. I would and will recommend this hotel and Beaulieu to anyone visiting the area, even as a suitable alternative to basing your trip out of Nice, where we did spend a fair amount of time. The pace and vibes were exactly what I wanted out of my vacation.
