Clos Saint Léonard

What a find! Situated in a small backstreet with no parking restrictions, one walked through a simple door from the street to encounter fabulous manicured gardens and then greeted by the charming owner who showed us to our accommodation. Beautifully arranged and with quality fixtures and fittings, the comfort factor was exceptionally high and especially the bed. A sumptuous evening meal was provided along with a continental breakfast. Treat yourself and stay here. Highly recommended.

If you're planning a short getaway, this spot is a must-visit! We were met with a wonderfully warm welcome by Stan. The former Priory is magnificent with wonderful peaceful walled gardens. The rooms were beautifully curated with historic furnishings and striking artwork. A delicious continental breakfast was included. Highly recommended for anyone looking for charm, history, and a peaceful escape.

Very good location stayed in one bedroom apartment, very well restored outbuilding very private with a super garden, breakfast was very good and host an ambassador to the local area, will be back.

We've just got home from a weekend in this beautiful building - quirky and full of surprises in every room and each corner! Originally built as cloisters in 1633, with so many original features, set in beautiful grounds. Our host, Stanislas, was friendly and extremely helpful, making our stay comfortable and straightforward. Lovely breakfast provided, with attention paid to the food sensitivities of some of our party. A very special memory...

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans la magnifique demeure de Stanislas. Partis de Brest pour visiter le zoo de la Flèche, nous avons trouvé la sérénité et le calme dans ce cloître entretenu avec goût. Notre hôte a été aux petits soins avec nous et nous a régalés de sa table ainsi que de ses petits-déjeuners. Ambiance chaleureuse avec des repas partagés. Encore merci Stanislas pour votre gentillesse et votre accueil.

Un ancien prieuré restauré avec beaucoup de respect. Un accueil digne de ce nom dans un lieu où même les pierres parlent. La suite de 45m2 est extraordinaire, elle donne sur le jardin extrêmement bien entretenu. Un détour à ne pas manquer pour passer un séjour hors du temps.

Met twee kinderen hier een nacht mogen verblijven. Goed bereikbaar vanaf de snelweg. Een heel hartelijk ontvangst door de enthousiaste en vrindelijke gastheer. Een prachtig gebouw met een hele ruime en even prachtige kamer. Badkamer zeer mooi, bedden liggen goed. Onze kamer had uitzicht over de mooie tuin, waar de kinderen konden spelen. Het ontbijt was heel goed verzorgd, de aankleding van het huis is een mooie mix van vroeger en nu. De prijs is zeer redelijk. Kortom: wij raden dit verblijf sterk aan! Bedankt voor de heerlijke start van onze vakantie!

Stanislas nous accueille de manière sincère et généreuse dans un beau logis XVIéme qu’il a restauré avec beaucoup de soin. Tout y est authentique et fait pour que l’on se sente bien. Le jardin est charmant. Le plus : le diner est proposé sur place et servi dans la belle salle à manger ! C’est une très belle étape à ne pas manquer.

Très belle expérience dans cette demeure de charme, décorée avec goût, un jardin agréable et reposant, le calme total. Que ce soit la literie ou l’électroménager, tout est de grande qualité. Nous avons été particulièrement surpris par l’exceptionnelle personnalité de son propriétaire, Stanislas.
