"We have been to the beautiful Kanha National Park a number of times, but this is the first time at Saccharum. It is a wildlife paradise in itself. The current owners are a delightful couple who have transformed the whole grounds into a very comfortable place to stay. Only a small proportion of the area has been been upgraded to high standard individual lodges with all the modern amenities, and the rest, some 50+ acres, has been re-wilded. So, they have a myriad of wildlife within their boundary. It is an amazing place. Also their chef is very special, concocting his own individual delights to suit all tastes. It is a short drive from Mukki Gate, the main entrance to Kanha. In our opinion, as well seasoned Indian wildlife travellers, there is no better place to stay. Thoroughly recommended"
