'A pretty good hotel overall! The location is convenient — there are food options on both sides, so finding something to eat is easy. There’s even a Mixue (ice cream & drinks) nearby, which is super convenient for a quick treat. Great for a short stay or a transit stop. Recommended!'

'Facilities poor. Air cond started leaking water at 3 am in the morning. No hair dryer in the room. No mini fridge in room'

'Receptionist has moved to level 1 for check in, spacious & nice place . The WiFi is in the room is not strong , can’t be used , messages kept loading . As the room coverage is already poor , I would suggest to improve or upgrade for the WiFi .'

'오래된 객실은 아니지만, 창문이 통유리로 되어 있어 답답하지 않고, 도로를 바라보는 전망이 좋았습니다. 도로 차량 소음이 전혀 들리지 않아 좋았습니다. 다만 두 가지 불만족스러운 점이 있었는데, 샤워할 때 욕실이 물에 잠겼고, 아래 변기에 머리카락이 많이 발견되었습니다(청소부에게 청소를 부탁했는데, 사과했습니다). 그리고 변기 바깥쪽 벽에는 테이프와 헤어스틱이 붙어 있었습니다. 좀 지저분했습니다. 너무 바빠서 호텔 직원에게 알리지 못했습니다. 객실에 거의 들어가지 않아서 죄송합니다. 전반적으로 괜찮습니다. 다음에도 이 객실을 다시 예약할 예정입니다. 욕실의 ”침수” 문제를 호텔 측에서 해결해 주었으면 좋겠습니다.'

'My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this homestay. The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated that made us feel right at home. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable dining table, bedding, hairdryer, heaters, Wi-Fi, and most importantly, excellent water pressure! The location was ideal, with food stalls and convenient stores nearby. We also felt very safe with its security door. The only minor point for improvement was that there were no extra keys provided for our family of six, which made it a bit challenging at times. Overall, we highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, hassle-free place to stay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we would love to return!'

'I had a good stay at StarCity Hotel in Kedah. The room was clean and comfortable, with working air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to shops and places to eat. Breakfast had a nice variety and tasted good. Wi-Fi was fast and free. Parking was easy and safe. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with good service. I would stay here again. Rating: 4/5'

'Stayed at The Jerai Hotel Alor Setar recently and overall it was a good experience. The staff were really friendly and we got a welcome drink when checking in, which was a nice touch after traveling. The location is great, right in the middle of town, so it’s easy to get around and find food or places to visit. The room was clean, which I really appreciated. It’s a bit on the small side, and the lift is quite tight too, but manageable if you’re not carrying too much. Breakfast was okay – not amazing, but enough to start the day. Parking is available, which is super convenient if you're driving. One thing to note: there aren’t any facilities like a swimming pool or gym, so it’s more for a simple, no-frills kind of stay. All in all, it’s a clean, comfortable place with good service and a great location. Would recommend for short stays or business trips!'

'This hotel has friendly receptionist and is clean. They also provide night security for vehicles parked around the hotel. The sink with cracked lines needs to be replaced for safety reason and cleanliness.'
