In the winter, you can cross-country ski on the same trails! Several hiking trails are only a short distance from the front door! Quandary Peak is just a few minutes South and provides magnificent views for those who are looking to tackle one of Colorado's famous Fourteeners. Main Street and the BreckConnect gondola are only a 3-mile drive North where you can find year-round activities for the entire family. During the summer months, Boreas Pass, which used to be a rail line leading over the mountains, provides a pleasant and historical drive with top-notch views. Boreas Pass is also a great place for some single-track mountain biking. Make sure you plan a drive during the fall to see the golden Aspen foliage. Several hiking trails are only a short distance from the front door! Quandary Peak is just a few minutes South and provides magnificent views for those who are looking to tackle one of Colorado's famous Fourteeners! Be sure to get an early start to avoid thunderstorms and bring plenty of water.
