Casale Oswalda was an incredibly positive and relaxing experience for us. We spent 8 nights there and would come back anytime. Starting with the warmth and simplicity at the reception by Fiorentina and Franco with their two children, the charmingly decorated and equipped rooms, the incredible view, the very personal breakfast, including pool and massage - Unforgettable! You get many excellent tips about good spots to visit, excellent restaurants and personal support. You can buy some very tasty wine and their home-made nut past - delicious! If you are looking for relaxing, calm and easy living vacation: this is the place to be! You get all you need!

We have stayed at Casale Osvalda several times – ten times over the last several years! At the same time, we have consistently traveled to new parts of Italy to explore; of course, we stay at other hotels or B&Bs when we are elsewhere. During our most recent visit to Casale Osvalda (CO) in September, 2023, we realized that CO is every bit as wonderful as high-end ‘castello’ B&Bs – different, certainly, but every bit as wonderful. The look and feel of CO, through our eyes: country hilltop quiet; welcoming, warm, and conscientious proprietors; comfortable (worth repeating: comfortable); country chic with antiques and art; attractive and clean; gorgeous panoramic views; donkeys braying and church bells ringing in the distance; fresh and relaxing breakfast; delicious, Piemontese dinner (occasional, for guests); drivable to many restaurants with delicious local cuisine; and two new suites with kitchenettes and bathtubs! We give Casale Osvalda the highest recommendation.

Casale Osvalda is our all-time favorite Piemonte B&B. For several years, it’s been our “go-to” place when staying in the area to visit relatives. Located on a ridgeline in Alfiano Natta, the views are spectacular. Casale Osvalda is a tranquil and soothing place to relax and recharge. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, we returned to find everything we loved about Casale Osvalda -- plus a few added touches. We’ve stayed at many good B&B’s in Piemonte. However, what makes Casale Osvalda a cut above the others is the warmth and hospitality of the proprietors. Fiorina and Franco are the best. We can’t wait to go back in the spring!

Outstanding location, service and breathtaking view! Pool area is epic ! Quiet, peaceful and almost meditative atmosphere. Clean spacious rooms . Extremely helpful and friendly owners who run this pearl!!!

We had been in Italy (Emilia Romagna and Piemonte regions) for three weeks and we selected Casale Osvalda because of their view of the valley south to Piemonte, and it was only 2 hours to Malpensa Airport. What a wonderful surprise to find it was probably the best place we stayed. Our hosts, Fiona and Franco, provided ideas for really good restaurants nearby, as well as serving a delicious four course dinner on their patio, overlooking Asti to Alba. It is a very peaceful place to stay, long walks through the fields and country roads, as well as resting and refreshing around their large swimming pool. Fio suggested a short trip to Casale Monferreto and Serralunga di Crea, where there is a Madonna statue dating back to back to 350 AD in the church built in 1150. Fio uses all the herbs and vegetables in her garden for her many dinner courses. All in all, I would recommend this to seasoned travelers to Italy who want to rest and soak in the beauty of this country..

My wife and I were so fortunate to book our stay at Casale Osvalda during our trip to Piemonte. It's location is on the very top of Alfiano Natta. On clear days, you can definitely see to the Alps which are stunning. Even on hazy, foggy days, the view of the surrounding countryside is still spectacular. Fio and Franco are welcoming and personable hosts who went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. We chose this location because of easy access to Asti and Alba and as a base to have several day trips. A 60 minute drive south brings you to Barbaresco and Barolo wine country and a 90 minute drive north brings you to the Alps or even to the shores of Lake Maggiore. The rooms at Casale Osvalda were very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. It was extra special because it included hazelnut spread and apricot/lavender jam homemade on their estate. I cannot say enough great things about this experience and I would highly recommend this location to everyone.

Siamo stati in famiglia al casale Osvalda, dopo che i miei genitori avevano già fatto una esperienza l’anno scorso . Si erano trovati così bene che abbiamo voluto rifare l’esperienza tutti insieme per festeggiare il loro anniversario di nozze! E cosa dire……siamo stati non bene, di più! Non sto lì a elencare tutto, basta dire che Fiorina è Franco hanno un amore autentico per il loro Casale e per i loro ospiti ! Un grazie di cuore per i bei giorni trascorsi!

Scoperto per puro caso per un week end di relax in famiglia, io -mio marito e il ns bimbo di 7 anni. Location magica, un antico casale ristrutturato con amore e cura che sovrasta le colline, circondato da pace e natura assoluta! Gentilezza dei proprietari a dir poco squisita, attenzione ai dettagli ovunque e deliziosa la camera a noi assegnata (avevamo la camera Gelsomino). Abbiamo scelto di cenare presso di loro la sera, che dire: non potevamo sentirci + coccolati e fortunati di cosi, tavolo per tre vista colline, contornato da pace, ottimo vino e cucina deliziosa, il tutto accompagnato da piatti fatti al momenti da loro! Ci torneremo senz'altro, peccato aver fatto solamente una notte, la prossima volta resteremo di piu di sicuro!! Grazie! Clara, Andrea e Ricky.

Ho trascorso un incantevole week end presso questo B&B nel cuore del Monferrato. Le camere le ho trovate molto carine e accoglienti. La posizione é semplicemente suggestiva, con un panorama mozzafiato sulle colline. La presenza della piscina ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole, soprattutto durante le giornate calde. Ciò che ha reso davvero speciale questa esperienza è stata l'ospitalità, la gentilezza e la simpatia dei proprietari, Fiorina e Franco. Sin dal momento dell'arrivo, ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa, offrendo consigli preziosi sulle sui ristoranti da provare. La loro attenzione ai dettagli e la passione che mettono nel loro lavoro si riflettono in ogni aspetto del soggiorno. Non vedo l'ora di ripetere questa bellissima esperienza! Grazie ancora a Fiorina e Franco per aver reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile.
