알렉산드라 가든 코트 모텔(Alexandra Garden Court Motel)

We stayed at the Garden Court Motel in Alexandra for 4 nights. We had the standard 1 bedroom room for 2 of us. The motel owner Denise was super friendly and helpful with information and the local area. The unit was clean , comfortable bed and pillows and the kitchen had everything we needed. This is an older style motel room but was functional and clean. We had our own terrace which was great to keep our mountain bikes on. It is a short 1-2km ride into town and very close to the Otago Rail trail and Roxburgh Gorge trailheads in town. Alexandra is a good base for doing the cycle trails in the area especially if Clyde is booked out. Nice gardens and laundry/washing line very much appreciated.

We love Garden Court Motel. Highlights include the well kept pretty gardens, friendly owners, extra details such as restaurant vouchers and great local advice, and in summer there is the pool for cooling off. Definitely recommend. Good hospitality, warm rooms, friendly management. What more could you ask for!

Lovely little old-school motel, well kept, spotlessly clean and bright as a new pin. The host was very welcoming and gave us a spacious room with a verandah overlooking the beautiful garden. Good cooking facilities, excellent shower, high ceilings and plenty of sunshine. The guest laundry and friendly cat were a bonus. Short distance from town and super quiet at night.We'd stay again without hesitation.

A solid 80s style motel with all the amenities required and very clean. A pool and trampoline for the kids, which was great. It is a wee bit out of town but walkable if you wanted to. Great communication from the owners. Beautiful outlook to the mountains.

Very basic and tired motel so not great value for the price. I arrived around 8pm which admittedly was late in the day - no helpful info offered - felt as if just wanted to take my money with no effort. Couldn't wait to leave the next day to be honest.

An hour drive from Wanaka. Nice and clean.

The accommodation was very spacious and very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Our children loved the beautiful garden and playground. Friendly staff and very close to the Otago Central Rail Trail. Thanks for a great stay!
