보몬트 하우스 첼트넘(Beaumont House)

It all felt a bit impersonal as you get your key out of a box at the door on arrival and put it back in the box when you leave. I was in room 015 on the top floor. This meant there are two areas where the eaves cut into the room. Also the window was high up so there wasn’t as much of a view of the garden as I’d expected. The room is a good size but does not have the wow factor. There were odd ‘hairy’ cushions on the bed and a dark brown wall, head board and bed base. The furniture was a bit tired. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean and the location is good. I just expected it to feel more like a luxurious treat for nearly £200.

Beaumont House is a beautifully appointed guest house, very stylishly decorated and comfortable. How often do we come across hotels where the power points are nowhere near the mirror for hair drying! This room was perfect, very good lighting, a power point by the bed for phone charging and two by the mirror for hair drying/styling. I would certainly recommend Beaumont House to any body staying in Cheltenham. An individual and interesting property, a very easy automatic checking in system and easy walking distance to some lovely restaurants and bars in the centre of town. All with off street parking too.

Lovely hotel only problem was the electric car charging spaces was taken up by non electric cars and there was carparking spaces. Very disappointed when we only went for this hotel because we needed to charge the car.... at £150 a night I would say its not worth it if you are looking for some things. Wouldn't mind if the cars was charging

Stayed here for 1 night while visiting our daughter in Cheltenham. Great pre stay communication & easy checkin via the automated checkin machine which issues you your card to access the building. Well situated near to Bath Road & Cheltenham town centre. This is a stunning period property with many original features including the stunning entrance hall floor and super high ceilings. Our room was perfect, super clean and a good size with a powerful shower delivering plentiful hot water. The bed gave a great nights sleep even if a little on the soft side for me. Overall a great property which we will definitely be using again

The family room was perfect, enough room, two bathrooms, beautifully decorated, comfortable. A very short walk to places to eat and drink.

All very good, lovely spacious clean room with good decor, free snack breakfast facilities, good location for walking into Cheltenham if reasonably fit. Area pleasant with some local shops and nice cafes a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay.

It’s a beautiful place, glorious decor & incredibly stylish, but Beaumont House lacks personality. There’s no welcome because you check yourself in, there’s no one to suggest where you go for breakfast because there’s none available there, only a page in a file. The bed was comfy but the shower was unsettling. We didn’t see a single person there & were quite relieved to leave.

A perfect weekend break at the Beaumont in Cheltenham. Loved the house with all the original features. There’s two lovely huge rooms you can use, we used the one with the sofa to sit with a book and coffee. We didn’t use the serve yourself honesty bar, but a great idea! We had a basic double room in the basement. But was great - had a lovely view of the garden. Had a big, super clean bathroom. (Just one minor point: could have done with a couple of hooks for coats. There’s nowhere to hang them! Would have been a pain if we had really wet coats - you wouldn’t want them in the wardrobe) The location was perfect for us. Lots of cafes and pubs in the near vicinity (we recommend the Exmouth Arms for food)

We booked the hotel for 1 night but enjoyed our stay so much we managed to extend by 1 extra night. Management and staff were very accommodating throughout our visit and gave some great recommendations on local eateries located a short walk away. The hotel had a very warm and welcoming feel, not to mention spotless throughout therefore would highly recommend. We also managed to charge our car using their 2 charging points in the hotel’s big car park which were really cost effective, it was rather difficult to find a hotel with EV charging capability. Will certainly be staying again!
