This means that each traveler only needs to pay £15! Do you know that travelers with a Two Together Railcard enjoy an estimated average annual savings of £153 or an estimated savings of £6.26 per journey? This means that the Two Together Railcard will have paid for itself after just a few trips! Just imagine how much more you can save when you use this handy card for everyday rail journeys.
The Two Together Railcard’s 1/3 discount is applicable for a wide range of tickets. Both travelers can enjoy this massive discount for most adult fares (including Advance tickets) throughout Great Britain. The only exception for this is morning peak time journeys. If you think that the Two Together Railcard only offers discounts for train tickets, you’ll be delighted to know that this Railcard also presents countless discounts with partnering restaurants, hotels and more! Who Can Apply for the Two Together Railcard?
Online Purchase
Users who have opted for a Digital Railcard will need to download the Railcard app. Then, users will be able to download the Two Together Railcard to the app using the download code sent by email and the Railcard will be available for use right away. As for users who have opted for a Physical Railcard, please allow up to 5 working days for the Railcard to arrive. The Railcard will be delivered to users free of charge. Users can also choose to pay for the Special Delivery option. The Special Delivery service costs £6.50 and it guarantees that the Two Together Railcard is delivered within 2 days (Monday to Thursday) or 3 days (Friday to Saturday) provided that users have placed their orders before 16:00. Users are required to have the Railcard to be able to get a discount on the rail tickets, so please leave enough time before the train journey for the Railcard to be delivered. Hence, users who are traveling on the day of their purchase are advised to purchase their Railcards at a staffed station ticket office instead.

These agents provide a comprehensive service for railway travel, and they can make reservations and issue tickets too. Please look out for the National Rail accredited logo that is marked with a “tick”. Please ensure that the office is open during your intended visiting hours.

The station ticket offices usually have application forms available. However, users can save time by filling in the form beforehand. The application forms are available online at railcard.co.uk, and users can print and fill in the application forms at home. When applying for the Two Together Railcard at a ticket office, applicants will need to provide the following documents: a completed application form and 2 separate passport-sized photos of the 2 named persons on the Railcard.
Please note that Railcards are usually unavailable for purchase at stations operated by London Underground but which also service some National Rail routes. The exceptions to this are Harrow & Wealdstone, Kenton, South Kenton, North Wembley, Wembley Central, Stonebridge Park, Harlesden, Kensal Green Queens Park, Gunnersbury and Kew Gardens.

How to Use Two Together Railcard?
Rail Ticket Discounts with Two Together Railcard
With the Two Together Railcard, users can get 1/3 discounts for Standard and First Class Anytime, Off-Peak and Advance fares when traveling together from 09:30 onwards from Monday to Friday, or anytime at weekends and public holidays. If the train is scheduled to depart at 09:30, the Two Together Railcard discounted ticket will be valid. Two Together Railcard discounted tickets cannot be used between 04:30 and 09:29 from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Here are some examples of the savings you can get for train tickets with the Two Together Railcard:

Other Information on Two Together Railcard
Although users are unable to use the Two Together Railcard for discounts on Oyster Pay As You Go or tickets bought from London Underground retailers, they can get discounted rail tickets for a journey that involves a cross-London journey using the Underground to travel between two London mainline train stations. Anytime Day Travelcards are also available when bought as part of your National Rail ticket to London from outside London Zones 1-9. Please note that this is subject to a minimum fare of £19.60.

How to Renew Two Together Railcard?
When the Two Together Railcard is renewed, the new card will start from the day after the current Railcard has expired. If users renew their digital Railcards before their expiry dates, please note that the current digital Railcards will appear in the online account as “Replaced”. Then, the renewed digital Railcard will be valid for use immediately. Any overlapping validity will be added on to the renewed digital Railcard. Only Railcards that are bought online can be renewed online. For users who have bought their Railcards from a station, they will need to renew their Railcards at a staffed station ticket office or purchase a new Railcard. Alternatively, users can wait until their current card has expired before applying for a new card online.
