There are two full bathrooms. Onsite washer & dryer, spacious kitchen stocked with spices, olive oil, salt/pepper, Ninja blender, garbage bags, ziplocks, foil, chip clips, tea, sugar, toilet paper, paper towels. One large TV and a fireplace in the living room, as well as a second TV in the lounge room. Large patio space with fire pit, outdoor tables and seating, grill, and corn hole. Great outdoor spaces on the front and back for reading a book or enjoying conversations with friends and family!The mural on the side of our home was painted by my daughter. :)Very quiet area. Because we are near the state park, be aware that we sometimes see bears, foxes, hawks, deer, and other wildlife nearby. 1 mile drive from the Park entrance, 1/2 mile walk to the waterfall. **Featured on the 2022 GVLMod Home Tour**....This 1957 Mid Mod Ranch is full of charm from the exterior to the period appropriate furnishings. If you love plants but don’t won’t the burden of caring for them, come enjoy the plants in our home. There are two large bedrooms boasting spacious closets. There is a full hall bath situated between the 2 larger bedrooms and another full bath connected to a smaller bedroom with trundle day bed (Twin on top and Twin on bottom). The bathrooms are original with the exception of new faucets, plumbing, and toilets. Both are fun, funky and in great condition. There’s a full kitchen, a cozy dining room and also a fun breakfast table that can be used for meals or game nights. The house has a 52” Smart TV and high speed internet. Home features a large carport where you can park your vehicles. This carport houses a covered outdoor seating area and built-in charcoal grill. The house is located on a quiet street next to the Botany Woods community. The area is great for walking, biking, and running. The house is convenient to Paris Mountain State Park (10 mins), downtown Greenville (8 mins), GSP Airport (20 mins), and Furman and Travelers Rest (20 mins). Piney Mountain Retreat features plenty of places for you to gather with those you love both indoors and out. Read on for a break-down of what to expect in each room.Pulling up to our home, guests are greeted by a charming front porch with a custom-made porch swing. The front door opens into a high ceilinged living room, complete with a large sectional and Smart TV (guests login to their own streaming services).The living room is divided from the kitchen by a bar area that seats 4. Nice, new-ish hotel about two blocks from the Falls at Reedy Creek trail and directly across the street of the minor league baseball stadium. About five blocks from the main shopping district downtown; an easy stroll. We had a top floor room (8th floor) and was pretty quite overall. You can still hear traffic noise even that high up. The hotel was very clean and well managed. I liked the onsite parking garage included with the room. Don't know if I'll ever get used to paying $300 or so a night for any hotel, but it is what it is. And at least it has a kitchenette. Breakfast was much improved from the time I was there during COVID, which was nothing more than a granola bar and water. I would definitely stay again, even with the price.
