A countryside retreat that lands you in the heart of some of Vermont's most iconic attractions: 25 minutes to Burlington, Lake Champlain and Waterbury, 15 to Bolton, 45 to Stowe/Sugarbush, and 5 to the Sleepy Hollow Nordic/Mountain Biking Center. With the Johnnie Brook running through the backyard, hiking trails close to the property and the quaint Richmond town center just a few miles away, this home away from home has everything you need to rest, relax and enjoy some of the best of Vermont.The spaceSet on wonderfully private 12 acres, the home is clean, cozy, warm and bright. With three bedrooms upstairs and a bunk room downstairs it comfortably sleeps twelve guests. The home is made for rest, relaxation and recreation: warm-up by one of the fireplaces, slip away into the library, play a board game with family, host an air hockey tournament with friends, have that talented cousin entertain on the piano, relax by the brook, catch one the best starlit nights you may ever see or take in a snowy winter night from the all-season sunroom. In the warmer months enjoy the sweeping lawn, relax on the hammock or smores at one of two outdoor firepits. Wifi, laundry, Prime and Netflix, a propane grill on the landscaped stone patio, an oversized farmhouse table, and more blankets than one could count are just a few of the things that will help you enjoy your stay. There are two and a half bathrooms - one with a deep soaking tub. The kitchen is complete with all the amenities needed to put together a family dinner with coffee, tea, some light breakfast fare and a few local wares provided to welcome you to the home.Other things to noteIn the warmer months, Black Bears pass through from time to time. They are quite skittish and will keep their distance. It is essential, however, that the bears are never fed nor should food be left out in any manner. Doing so poses a threat to guests... and the bears. (ANYTHING OVER 6 GUESTS IS AN ADDITIONAL FEE PER GUEST PER NIGHT) The Green Mountains are what Vermont is known for and that is exactly what you will find. A perfect spot for the nature enthusiast. This home sits on 225 acres of privately owned wooded land that is part of Stimson Mountain, which has great hiking and Long Trail accessibility. Take a walk to the lookout points and immerse yourself in the beauty that is Vermont or pack a lunch and sit next to one of the many waterfalls that are active on the trails. We are conveniently located near many ski mountains, the closest being Bolton Ski Resort only about 5 miles away. It boasts 71 Alpine trails for skiing and riding, as well as 100 km of Nordic terrain that includes extensive array of backcountry trails. It is also one of the very few ski mountains that has night skiing! Bolton Valley offers one of the best downhill mountain biking from Spring to Fall. As well, Richmond has a great network of mountain biking trails off of Cochran Road that you can also enjoy. 5 miles away you can hike to the summit of Camels Hump (State Park) where you will stand at a peak of 4083 Feet and enjoy the 360-degree Mountain View’s, parking is also available at the foot of the Mountain. For the golf lovers we have the beautiful West Bolton Golf Club that is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the property! When you're all done, head back to your retreat and sit around a warm fire and enjoy the peacefulness of country living. Watch Tv or enjoy playing some of the many board games we have available. During the warm summer months, we are within minutes of swimming holes notched between huge rock formations that will take your breath away and are worth your time to explore. Not a swimmer, no problem you can bring your canoe/kayak/paddle board down to the Winooski River at the end of the road and float down the river. Or head on over to the Waterbury Reservoir where you can rent all of these summer toys and enjoy hanging out on the water, all while enjoying the gorgeous mountain views. The activities are endless and there is something for everyone. Burlington is only 25 minutes away, where one can enjoy a quick lunch or dinner while taking in the views of Lake Champlain. In the home you will find a hand fully crafted barn board ceiling and large windows to allow the sun to shine in, watch the snow fall or enjoy the beauty of the Fall foliage. The home sleeps 13 people very comfortably. Bedroom #1 (Queen bed), Bedroom # 2 (Queen bed,) Bedroom #3 has 2 sets of bunkbeds both a single over a double and Bedroom #4 has one single over double bunkbed. Two full baths keep waits for a shower to a minimum and there is a washer /dryer available for your convenience. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to cook your next meal. Not in the mood to cook, you are close to amazing restaurants all within 5-8 miles of the home. Want to bring more friends and family? We have an adjoining unit right next door that is a replica of this space and also sleeps up to 13 people. Great place for family reunions and such! This is the perfect vacation spot no matter the season! We have a separate building that has a shuffleboard, ping pong table, fuss ball and arcade with 400 games. In the Winter months an all wheel drive with good winter tires is a must!! 우리는 올해 UVM에서 1 학년 인 손녀를 방문하러갔습니다. 호텔은 그녀와 그리 멀지 않았습니다. 고속도로에서 두 개의 출구 만 있습니다. 매우 깨끗하고 친절한 직원. 프론트 데스크 접수 원에서 하우스 클리닝에 이르기까지 짐을 휠리로 우리를 보았던 직원까지 우리를 위해 돌려 주겠다고 제안했습니다. 조용한 복도와 냉장고가있는 매우 편안한 방. 우리는 확실히 다시 여기에있을 것입니다!

호텔의 전반적인 느낌은 괜찮습니다. 첫날은 기분이 좋았습니다. 다음날 방을 청소하는 데 도움이되었다고 말했지만 결과는하지 않았습니다. 쓰레기는 가져 가지 않았으므로 기분이 좋지 않았습니다. 그리고 어젯밤 아이들이 방화 스위치를 실수로 만졌고 모두가 위층에서 아래층으로 달려갔습니다. 미국 소방 아저씨 소방관은 매우 전문적이고 매우 빨리 도착했습니다! 잊을 수없는 경험
