Great family space with open areas, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Sleeps 8 plus a pull out couch for flexibility. Large back porch overlooking the West River Brook. Close to ski areas and Jamaica State Park. Country store a half mile away with groceries, wine, prepared foods, deli and some gifts. Manchester with its shops and restaurants within 30 minutes. Weston with the Vermont Country store and other shops and restaurants nearby as well. Come enjoy our country setting on a dirt, town maintained, dead end road right off VT Route 30. The property is next to beautiful meadows and by the river. Relax by the fire pit or dine on the porch overlooking the river. Ski, hunt or hike or see sites like Townshend State Park, Hamilton Falls and the Ball Mountain Dam. Come and relax with your family in our new build cabin close to skiing and Jamaica State Park on the West River Brook. Many restaurants and shopping near by. If you are a writer or photographer…This is your spot! Yep, French doors & integrated king bed and roof top chill deck. The location was somewhat out of the way, making for a very peaceful stay and beautiful stars to view through the 'skylight' above the bed. There's not a lot to do in the area, and not a ton of restaurants super close by, but a little driving made it worthwhile. The hot tub was fabulous.The one thing I would suggest is to put some curtains on the large French doors leading to the balcony right outside of the bedroom area.It feels very invasive without them - we rigged up a blanket to cover the window, as right outside of those doors is a large farmhouse, also rented. The only way to get up to the house is a winding metal staircase, which was super cool, but would be difficult for folks with mobility issues. Stay comfortably in Londonderry at this charming 1-bedroom cabin. The cabin features a cozy bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed. With heating and AC, you'll be able to relax in any season. The bathroom offers a refreshing shower. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place.We were honored to be one of Vermonts most popular rentals!THANKS SO MUCH FOR CHECKING OUT BENT APPLE FARM!! WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE…YOU ARE NOW PART OF THE FAMILY…The cabin has a real VT vibe…Wood, wood & more wood! It’s calming, and comfortable and very close to the mountain! The hot tub is literally 2O yards away and looks out on horses and Stratton mountain with the setting sun behind!! We have a lovely fire pit so you can do s’mores right after the hot tub! Just remember to bring marshmallows because the grocery store closes early!!!Kitchen: We have a hot plate set up so it’s not a full kitchen...We have you covered on dish ware but think of Fernandos as get up and make yourself an egg and toast kind of a place. This isn’t the cabin for Thanksgiving dinner! That said, I have seen people get very creative on a double hot plate!Centrally located within 10min to a BIG grocery store, awesome butcher shop, hardware store, and pharmacy. We are sandwiched between VT’s finest ski mountains so take your pick!! Fernando’s cabin is a hidden gem and is often described as being the most relaxing, romantic, and cozy cabin in the woods EVER!!!What could be better than falling asleep in the trees and wakingup to birds singing around you or in winter to a pristine layer of fresh pow!! Cleanings:Our cleaning and linen fee is there to allow our cleaning lady to fully disinfect, clean, do laundry, fold linens and get the bathrooms and kitchen to sparkle. We charge just a bit more these years for all the changes we have experienced from Covid, property tax hikes and STR taxes. Hope you understand. It’s loved for it’s true Vermont nature - Rustic, calming, cozy and comfortable:)Centrally located between 4 of Vermont’s best ski mountains. The Run-In is the perfect retreat for a DIY, un-fussy getaway. What’s better than falling asleep in the trees and waking up to a view of the mist rising off our endless rolling green hills OR even better, a fresh layer of pow!!! We have almost 100 acres for you to roam!! You are welcome to explore our beautiful fields and paths and we really hope you do! In the summer you have a private outdoor shower. In the winter you have a regular indoor bathroom with a new shower. The private hot tub can be use all year round.You have a very nice new deck area out front of the cabin for grilling and watching the sun set over the mountains. Keep in mind we have a lot of wildlife in our area so keep your voices down and you might see moose, deer, coyote, and a ton of cool birds. That being said, keep your food inside and use the bear proof dumpster for your trash. They don't come to bother you but they do come looking for scraps! AROUND TOWN...Londonderry is Manchester’s cute kid sister, with rustic shops and quintessential Vermonters. We have an awesome record store, ski shop and great grocery store and butcher shop! Don’t miss Bromley Market, where you can grab gourmet sandwiches on housemade biscuits as big as a dinner plate and stock up on local Artisanal goodies. The Corner is great for coffee and quick breakfast on the go!Taylor Farm is a town icon, it’s goods like cheese and ice cream are as local as it gets— the dairy is from the cows munching beside the farm shop. Swing by in the evenings and you’re likely to join a jam session with Farmer John, the proprietor who in winter offers magical horse drawn sleigh rides with hot apple cider, and a bonfire.Stove & Wood: If you wish to use our beautiful wood burning stove we do ask you bring a stack of dry KINDLING and starter sticks! We supply all the logs you will ever need, but our wood is usually off the property and tends to be green. You are welcome to as much of it as you want, but you will have a hard time lighting it if you don’t bring a bundle of dry kindling from home! We have a torch for lighting the stove so don’t go crazy looking for matches…We don’t have em!If you forget to pick up kindling our local grocery store and hardware store have stacks waiting for you and duraflame products, but keep in mind they do close early!! The wood is located up the little steps outside behind the wooden door. Don’t light a large fire or you won’t get much sleep in that loft! Heat rises. Also, keep the top loading door cracked a few inches to get the fire going. Be sure the stove is closed tight and let the fire burn out before bedtime. NEVER REMOVE A LIT LOG FROM INSIDE THE WOOD STOVE. Just let it burn out. You are in the Green Mountains but less 2 minutes from a gas station, groceries, restaurants and ski shop and bike shop.Total land is 5.5 acres. Park 2 x SUVs in the driveway and 3 x SUVs across the road in from of our barn (not included in the rental). Flat land and 800 feet to hard surface roads.High quality Xfinity (Comcast) cable feed for TVs, Internet and landline. Excellent cell phone service. This is our second home, with well-equipped kitchen and amenities. Brand spanking new!! “Kloki” for Lil’ Clock!! Located in a HUGE field of rolling hills. Very private with new hot tub and sauna! It got its name from the round windows we saved from an old church that look like Cupid clocks! Brand new hot tub and sauna right out your door!! Stratton mnt view from the porch. We are 5 min to Magic and 10 to Bromley! Ski our trails or roam the property! We sit on 100 acres of heavenly woods and hills, perfect for stargazing in a clear night! Excited to host you folks!! Summit view cottage boasts 3.12 acres in the beautiful southern part of the green mountains. At this brand newly built cabin you will have 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, which will sleep 6 comfortably. You will find yourself within 12 minutes to Stratton mtn, 15 minutes from Bromley mtn and a close 4 minutes to Magic mtn. You will also be pleased on your proximity to the town of Manchester, which has great shops and restaurants all within 25 minutes.Please be mindful of our driveway, it is highly recommended that you use a 4x4 car or truck in the winter months. Our driveway has an incline and in wintery conditions, you'll need AWD/4WD to access the cabin.Please no partiesYou’ll be delighted to be at the brand new constructed cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The first floor bedroom has a queen bed with the bathroom located right outside the bedroom door. The upstairs has two bedrooms with full beds as well as a full bathroom out side of the bedroom doors. We have thoughtfully decorated throughout the home, with attention to the smallest details. In the winter months you will enjoy our wood burning stove that will instantly create a cozy environment! We provide free unlimited fire wood as well! We also have a outdoor fire pit for all year use! Follow us on social media ! @Vermont_collective 3.12 private acres in the green mountains! Great hiking trails below the cabin ending at the beautiful west river (5–8-minute downhill hike on property).
