This “boutique” hotel was NOT inexpensive. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the building itself lacked everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was so dark it was impossible to read. There was no room for two people to place toiletries in the bathroom. There was no closet or dresser, so if one is staying for more than one night it would be difficult to store clothing. There were exactly two hooks on the wall and four hangers! Worst of all….. the mattress was so uncomfortably soft that my husband slept sitting up on a hard chair. Perhaps some would find this hotel charming, ……not us.

방은 매일 청소되지 않습니다. 나갈 때 청소부에게 방을 청소하고 수건을 바꿔달라고 요청했는데 오후에 돌아왔을 때 여전히 교체되지 않았습니다. 즉시 방 청소를 해달라고 요청했는데 프런트에 신청하라고 하더군요. 프런트에서는 방 청소는 미리 신청해야 하며 청소 직원은 오전에만 가능하다고 대답했습니다.

호텔은 환경이 좋고 도심에 위치하여 미국에서 식사하기가 매우 편리합니다. 아침 식사는 매우 좋지만 중국인 배에는 적합하지 않습니다. 간단한 식사도 가능하고, 뜨거운 물을 끓일 수 있는 커피머신도 있어서 차를 좋아하는 저에게는 좋은 것 같아요. 하지만 제 딸은 영어를 할 수 있어서 이미 예약을 해두었어요. 딸이 여기에 없을 때 프론트 데스크에서 신용 카드로 보증금을 지불하라고 요청하여 의사 소통이 어려웠습니다.

저는 학교를 방문하기 위해 뉴욕에서 로드아일랜드까지 차를 타고 가서 Aloft에 머물렀습니다. 리셉션 직원은 매우 열정적이었고 아침에 무료 커피가 있다는 것을 상기시켜주었습니다👍. 방은 깨끗하고 넓으며 디자인이 가득합니다. 미화 35달러로 호텔의 주차 대행 서비스를 선택하거나 옆 주차장에 주차할 수 있습니다(근처의 많은 주차장은 미화 20달러 정도입니다). 로드 아일랜드 예술 학교(Rhode Island School of Art)와 브라운(Brown)까지 도보 거리. 근처에 먹을 곳이 많지 않아 밤에는 조금 불편하겠지만, 낮에는 시내를 걸어다니며 먹을 것을 찾을 수 있습니다. 추천하다!

방은 매일 청소되지 않습니다. 나갈 때 청소부에게 방을 청소하고 수건을 바꿔달라고 요청했는데 오후에 돌아왔을 때 여전히 교체되지 않았습니다. 즉시 방 청소를 해달라고 요청했는데 프런트에 신청하라고 하더군요. 프런트에서는 방 청소는 미리 신청해야 하며 청소 직원은 오전에만 가능하다고 대답했습니다.

This “boutique” hotel was NOT inexpensive. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the building itself lacked everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was so dark it was impossible to read. There was no room for two people to place toiletries in the bathroom. There was no closet or dresser, so if one is staying for more than one night it would be difficult to store clothing. There were exactly two hooks on the wall and four hangers! Worst of all….. the mattress was so uncomfortably soft that my husband slept sitting up on a hard chair. Perhaps some would find this hotel charming, ……not us.
