입실시 대기시간 없이 리셉션에서 친절하게 대응했고 방에 들어가니 티비 화면에 welcome message 가 뜨네요. 별거 아니지만 기분좋아 인증샷 남겼습니다 ㅎㅎ 샤워실과 세면대 사이 문을 닫아 분리할 수 있고 방문까지 닫으면 더 아늑한 공간이 되는 구조가 인상적이었습니다. 청결상태는 아주 좋았고 처음 배정받은 방에 히팅이 약해서 말했더니 바로 방 바꿔주었구요. 네스프레소 머신에 매일 커피캡슐 4개를 제공해서 아침 저녁으로 잘 마셨네요- 생수병을 별도로 제공하지는 않고 방에 비치해 놓은 유리병이 있어 각층에 있는 정수기에서 떠 마시는 구조입니다. 환경을 생각하니 별로 귀찮지 않았습니다. 밤늦게 도착해서 먹은 호텔내 레스토랑 음식 먹을만했고 이곳 직원들도 친절했습니다. 이름도 특이했던 steak potato 맛있어서 두번이나 먹었네요 ㅎㅎ 이타카 시내가 워낙에 좁다보니 호텔에서 모든곳이 거의 다 가까워요. 다만 Cornell University 방문객이시라면 지도상 아주 가까워보였는데 등산하실 준비 하셔야 합니다~ 저희는 운동겸 걸어도 가보고 우버 이용하기도 했습니다. 유일한 불만이라면 바꿔준 방이 커넥팅 룸 이었는데 옆방의 소음이 좀 있어요. 다시 이 도시를 방문 할 일이 생길지 모르겠으나 만약 가게된다면 다시 예약할 생각이 들게 한 호텔이었습니다😊

This cozy cottage, with it's rustic charm will instantly make you feel like you have taken a step back in time to a simpler, quieter pace of life. The cottage is attached to a multi family home. The two main apartments are vacant. The entire property will be private to you and your guests. Please note there is no access to the main home, you will only have access to the cottage.The cottage has two private entrances (one in the bedroom) and plenty of parking. The BEST part is the gorgeous waterfall just outside and the breathtaking views of Cayuga Lake, Cornell, and the parks below.The cottage has a master bedroom (three stairs up from living room) with a queen-size bed and a big window overlooking your very own waterfall! You can open the window to hear the beautiful sounds of the waterfall as you sleep!**Please note: for very tall persons (6ft+) the ceiling in the bedroom is lower than most.** The front door of the cottage enters (about five steps up) into the living room with plenty of natural light and scenery. Two futons can become full-size beds, perfect for additional guests or children.The dining nook can seat up to 6. Extra chairs are located in the large closet in the living room. The cottage comes with a full kitchen with all needed dishes, including pots and pans. We have a Ninja drip style coffee pot, toaster, tea kettle, microwave, and all essentials needed for cooking. Coffee, sugar, and creamer is provided.Guest have a nice yard space right next to the backyard waterfall with a fire pit and outdoor table and chairs. We have lanterns for light and mosquito repellent.We do allow pets, up to two dogs and we do not have any breed or size limits. We do have a modest $15 per night pet fee. We do ask that you clean up after your pets outside.Full self check in is our standard which is very easy, the lock box code will be sent in your booking details. Our check-in letter includes lots of information for your stay so please take a look. If you will be coming in after dark, we will be happy to leave the porch light on for you.Plenty of space all around! Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, only a mile from downtown, yet secluded alongside 50 acres of woods overlooking Cayuga Lake.Other things to note:**The driveway is a bit steep. Please use caution when entering, stay close to the mailbox side when entering and exiting for the smoothest possible experience.Our only expectations for guests are to take out garbage and recycling upon check-out, dishes washed, and gather dirty towels and place in a single spot on the floor.No need to make the bed before you check out as we will be stripping it anyway. However if you would prefer to strip the bed please go ahead! Plenty of parking available, there is a spot just outside the entrance of the cottage for one vehicle. Additional parking is to the right of the cottage facing the lake. Please do not park on the grass when parking near the entrance. Stay in the gravel to prevent damage to the lawn.House manual:There are 50 acres of woods a short walk from the cottage with a path down to the Black Diamond Trail, that guest are welcome to explore (directions are on the fridge inside.)Regarding the interior of the cottage there is a large storage closet off the living room in which you will find extra dining room chairs, a mattress topper for the futons, a pack-n-play, booster seat, fan, and plenty of extra bedding.In the bedroom closet, you will find plenty of extra bedding for the futons or bed. The apartment is a brand new bottom floor unit, with hosts living upstairs, though very quiet and respectful. The hosts are my folks, and I, their daughter Branka, manage the property and platform for them. This apartment truly is brand new, construction ended in June 2021. It is private with your own entry. There is a large bedroom with enough closet space, a queen size bed, blow up mattress (also queen size) and a mini crib for those who travel with little ones. Living room is spacious and equipped with a large TV, an electric fireplace, and all around comfort! Bathroom does have a sensitive sani-flo system, and it can sometimes be a bit loud but functions very well. Bathroom is well equipped with amenities and a modern, touch button mirror and plenty of storage. Kitchen is equipped with full size appliances and a dishwasher for convenience of less to think of while on vacation! Without saying too much, we invite you to book with you and enjoy all the hard work we have put into the unit, all the while assuring you have everything you need for your comfortable stay. Please refer to the photos of the listing, they are the best way to get an idea of the quality and comfort of the large 950 sq. foot apartment. For longer stays, we will honor the use of the washer and drier, don't hesitate to ask if you are booking for 14 nights or longer (even less in emergencies).
