From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel completely at home — super kind, always smiling, and genuinely helpful with tips about where to go and how to get around. It didn’t feel like just checking into a hostel, more like being welcomed into someone’s home.
The breakfast every morning was such a treat. Fresh, tasty, and prepared with care — the kind of breakfast that actually makes you look forward to waking up early. It gave me the perfect energy to start exploring the city.
The location couldn’t have been better. It’s right in a very convenient spot, close enough to walk to the main sights but still in a peaceful area where you can relax after a busy day. I loved being able to step out and reach Samarkand’s incredible landmarks so easily.
Overall, Old Radio Hostel has such a cozy, warm vibe. Between the amazing host, the delicious food, and the perfect location, it really felt like a home away from home. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable and authentic stay in Samarkand — I’d definitely stay here again!

SSylvia TeohI didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it.

리리뷰어We really liked the hotel. It’s new, clean, with nice rooms and a good breakfast. Conveniently close to the airport; it’s better to take a taxi to the main attractions, but everything is within about 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and genuinely try to help the guests.
