The check-in was the most problematic part. I hadn't received any instructions from the host (also not in spamfolder) how to unlock the entry gate to the property. It was already getting dark and the host was also not reachable by telephone. Monica from Trip customer service eventually managed to forward the necessary entry codes to me (many thanks for the assistance!). ++ The room was spacious and convenient, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and toilet were clean and there were enough towels. For those who like to watch TV: a huge flatscreen with plenty of channels. The shared patio with a little swimming pool is very nice with beautiful sea view. The property is quietly situated at a 15 minute walk from the centre of Angra. -- No written instructions (e.g. WiFi password) or general information (amenities) available. There are shared facilities in the property and the kitchen can be used for preparing meals (self catering). Although the reservation mentioned breakfast included, there was no fresh bread brought in. Not the end of the world but better not mention it as an option. Also unclear if items in refrigerator belong to other guests (self caterers) or are for general use so we didn't touch any. The host was not available by telephone for questions and also never responded to my initial calls on the day of check in. The room was in the basement and from time to time some smell from the sewer pipes lingers in the room.

I was a little disappointed that this is not, in fact, a hotel. I think I might have been the only person staying there, I didn't see anyone else except for about 2 seconds in the breakfast room. The only contact I had was by email, and all the instructions were only sent the morning I was traveling, so I didn't receive them until I got to Pico. The room was comfortable enough and very clean. But lots of things are dated. The internet was non-existent. The air conditioner and bathroom fan were both ancient and made a lot of noise. The breakfast was only meh, but the view from the breakfast room was lovely. The location is good, close to town and in a quiet area. I didn't spend much time at the hotel and it was too cold for a swim, but I imagine that would be great when the weather is warmer as the pool also has an amazing view. It's worth it for the price.

Charming Hotel은 따뜻하고 매력적인 분위기의 아름답게 보존된 유서 깊은 건물입니다. 객실은 편안하고 매일 리필되는 유리병을 포함하여 기대할 수 있는 대부분의 편의 시설을 잘 갖추고 있습니다. 1층에서는 하루 종일 무료 커피를 제공합니다. 직원들은 매우 수용 적이었습니다. 수하물 보관소를 사용하여 체크 아웃 후 돌아와서 커피를 즐기고 출발하기 전에 파티오에서 휴식을 취할 수있었습니다. 아침 식사는 잘 준비되었고 하루를 멋지게 시작했습니다. 한 가지 주의할 점은 객실로의 접근은 계단으로만 가능하므로 무거운 짐을 싣는 투숙객은 이를 염두에 두어야 한다는 것입니다. 전반적으로 이 호텔은 환상적인 위치에서 멋진 경험을 제공합니다. 나는 기꺼이 다시 여기에 머물 것이다.

호스텔은 너무 깨끗합니다. 빛납니다. 방은 매우 좋았고 욕실은 넓으며 아침 식사는 훌륭했습니다. 너무 많이 제공됩니다. 약간의 성가신 것은 내 방(1호실)의 Wi-Fi가 계속 연결을 끊었지만 옆집 식사 공간에서는 괜찮았습니다. 나는 확실히 다시 머물 것입니다.

Em geral, um bom alojamento local para ficar acomodado. Oferece boa limpeza, comodidades razoáveis e os funcionários são simpáticos e prestáveis. Já estive outras vezes neste alojamento e gostei muito, no entanto, nesta reserva em particular, houve certas coisas que não correram tão bem, nomeadamente, não havia toalhas de banho disponíveis em nenhum sítio do apartamento e o chuveiro não funcionava devidamente. Na altura não informei sobre o sucedido e não pedi toalhas e que arranjassem o chuveiro, apenas porque cheguei ao alojamento já tarde e fiquei apenas uma noite. Acredito que o problema seja daquele apartamento em específico ou algo de género, porque já estive noutros e estava tudo bem, porém deveriam ter isso em conta de todos os apartamentos estarem igualmente em condições.

Absolutely stunning place, house with history. Beautiful design, well equipped, tea/coffee facilities, nice staff, and very close to the airport. All in all highly recommended

Quite ok House owner contact me few hours before for any assistance or difficulty in finding the place. The only point that is not up to expectation is washroom is shared.
