received an email requesting for bank card details and it was fishy, managed to check with trip.com who gave me the PIC's contact so that I could clarify n indeed the email was not sent by the hotel.. place is nice, there is a food court right opposite.. just stayed for a night for work so didn't get to use the pool..

First the positive, it was a bit a clean. Had enough towels. This is my first time with ryokan, but 3rd time to stay in sunway onsen suites. Other previous times the rooms were excellent. However this room, the moment we enter, had hair on the floor n beds. There was no water dispenser, no iron board and washing machine. Bathroom had cockroaches and the water flow was so slow. Ryokan management can look for some upgrade for the room. For Sunway onsen suites management, please clean your pools! Both the onsen n the salt water pool were dirty! We even found a pair of underpants. Reason given was rain bring dirt from mountains🤷♀️. Overall great view of the themepark n mountains.

The house is clean and good. From the details provided, there are air conditioner room. However, when we depart, the child play room is without air conditioner. This was a shock to us and we have to arrange 2 person to sleep in the living room. Perhaps the details of the house provided can mentioned this clearly, to avoid misunderstanding and make some earlier arrangements.

Overall was a great experience, easy check-in, near Lost World, requested extra towels and provided earlier than expected. Responsive reply from home stay management. The only down part was unexpected blackout ard 10am, we checked out earlier.

매우 혼합된 경험이었습니다. 작은 용기는 달콤하고 커튼이 닫혀있어 매우 편안했습니다. 침대와 베개는 좋은 품질이었습니다.
직원들은 사랑스럽고 매우 세심했습니다.
수영장은 무슬림들로 북적북적해서 반나체로 들어가는 것이 편안하지 않았습니다. 컨테이너가 수영장 바로 옆에 있어서 특히 수영장이 바쁠 때 매우 노출된 느낌이 들었고 한낮에 커튼을 닫고 싶은 사람은 누구입니까?
수영장이 비어 있으면 수영할 수 있냐고 물었지만 오후 8시 이후에 수영장이 문을 닫았습니다. 이 정책은 수영장 옆 객실의 주민을 위해 검토해야 합니다.
수영장에서 놀기를 고대했을 때 편안하지 않은 할랄 레저 센터처럼 느껴졌습니다.
소리 지역은 아름답고 Taiping은 아름답습니다.
이 말을하면 다시 머물 수 없습니다. 부정적인 것보다 더 많은 긍정적 인 점이있었습니다.

The apartment I stayed in was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather.
Service:
While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.

One of the standout features of The Cove Hillside is the range of amenities. The infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the surrounding hills. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern machines and free weights, great for staying in shape. There’s also a barbecue area that can be reserved for gatherings, which adds a nice touch for family or group stays. Plus, the complex is gated with 24-hour security, so I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay.

리리뷰어this is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me?
second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us.
during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.

리리뷰어The look and feel of Sarang Paloh is lovely. It has an old world style which we loved. The location is also great, ten minutes from the station and close to lots of restaurants and spots in the old town.
The room has a nice style to it as does the garden you walk through. The room facilities were lacking, with no fridge and no safe which we would expect at this price point. Hot water in the shower doesn’t last long and they provide a 3 in 1 body wash, shampoo and conditioner, again something we wouldn’t expect at this price point. The hotel also doesn’t offer room cleaning. This may have been because we stayed for two nights only but this is not communicated on the website or at check in. This meant used cups or water bottles aren’t cleared nor is the rubbish bin emptied. We were also not made aware of locally available discounts for staying at the hotel.
All in all an ok stay but several small things made this not value for the money we paid.

NNicoleIt is a very lovely guest house with great atmosphere. Especially, I have to thank a staff who was on duty on 18th night shift sincerely. My grandmother was uncomfortable on that night, we were looking for pills to stop her stomach ache from the reception at around 3am in the midnight, the staff was very kind, he drove my sister to the nearest convenience store to get the pills and finally my grandmother felt better after that.

EErna ZaabarMy staycation here was quite pleasant! The room was just nice for two of us clean, minimalistic, and had a cozy vibe. Loved the Santorini-inspired decor with blue and white tones, it gave a refreshing Mediterranean feel.
Room amenities were complete: Netflix-ready TV, iron and board, kettle all in working condition. The bed was comfy, although the room might feel a bit compact for those bringing large luggage.
The highlight? Definitely the pool area! Very clean and beautifully designed — perfect for photos and a quick dip.
Overall, a nice place for a short stay or weekend escape. Just don't expect a luxury resort it’s simple, aesthetic, and does the job well.

리리뷰어저는 가족 2명과 함께 하룻밤을 묵었습니다. 주차장이 좁고 제한적이어서 주차할 때 조심해야 합니다. 체크인은 비교적 쉽고 빠르며, 보증금은 요구되지 않았습니다. 호텔에는 헬스장, 수영장, KTV, 심지어 영화관 등 많은 시설이 갖춰져 있습니다. 제가 예약한 패밀리룸은 넓어서 3명의 짐을 둘 수 있는 충분한 공간이 있습니다. 욕실이 가장 만족스럽습니다. 욕조와 2 in 1 히터가 장착된 샤워실이 있고, 수압은 조절 가능하지만 충분히 강합니다. 그러나 객실 에어컨 스윙 기능이 고장 나서 고정된 방향으로만 바람이 불어서 침대를 식히지 못할 수 있습니다. 또한, 제가 머무는 동안 소파 의자 한쪽이 젖었습니다 :(
전반적으로 큰 불편함 없이 잘 지냈습니다.
